THE ORACLE ZONE is a Pokemon RPG that takes place in an unknown time and place--even perhaps dimension. The reader released the Evil that was released years ago, causing the disappearance of Pokemon. The reader's Oracle Guide then leads her or him through a black hole to a place where a person is truly put to a test.

The Persona [Roleplayer] is allowed to create up to two characters max and one free NPC. More than one NPC creation would require payment. The Persona's characters end up in a barren wasteland dubbed as Area 001 in the Oblivion Zone. The Persona's character(s) is not given the proper explanation by the Woman, thrown off to the lifeless place with a Pokemon that was given to the Persona's character upon its introduction [sign-up]. The Woman also gave 5 Pokeballs, 2 Potions, some money, two item storages called the E-Box and the Oracle Guide which has many purposes. There is the Book of Knowledge which also serves as the Oracle Guide Book that was given along to help the Persona's character understand the Guide (and many more). With these items, the Persona's character wander in Area 001 with the mysterious Oracle Zone book with her/him.

The challenge in the RPG is for the Persona's character to discover the world and the new environment. The environment is certainly strange and abnormal, involving normally some kind of magical damage that was unexplained even in the book. The place is very dangerous and many unpredictable things come the Persona's character's way. This is the challenge of a foreigner to become a hero in a quest that she/he would have to discover along the way. To help the Persona's character to survive, the Persona must also work to 'supply' her/his character(s) for survival and strength.
