Hi All,

Just a few notes about our first match. First, timing:
10:30 Arrive at Iffley
11:00 Begin warmup on court
11:30 Match time

Location: Iffley
Date: 2010-09-25 (Saturday, e.g. tomorrow!)

Fees! Please bring £27 to cover NVL registration

Food: We need to provide food for (ourselves and) the other team. As a general rule, please bring enough food for yourself and one other person. It would be awesome if everyone could post the food item(s) they are bringing to this thread so we don't end up with a million bananas and no sandwiches.

Thanks everyone, and let's start the season off right.

Best wishes,
Scott

Good to know we get information like this out nice and early so everyone can prepare...

Anyway, I can bring apples, cookies (and the like) - but I do not have anything savoury that I can provide.

Besides, I do not plan on sticking around for lunch after the match, so I am not sure what the idea there is.

I'll try to make some sandwiches, and failing that I'll bring sausage rolls. I'll bring some plastic cups too. We're also feeding refs and the linespeople, btw. If anyone forgets to bring food, they can spend a fiver in the cafe.

later,

Paul
