I cannot wait! The only thing I've been dubious about since IM2 is Scarlett Johansson. I can't buy her as any sort of action woman, and I'm going to enjoy laughing at the posing her vs the work her stunt woman is doing!

It looks awesome, second only to Rises.

Bring on 2012!

How ripped is Renner? Seriously! That's freakily sexy! On a side note, I caught a bit of SWAT recently, how young and fresh faced does he look in that?!

Now, I won't be watching it in 3D, I'm not that stupid, but those specs look pretty sleek! I want the Hulk ones!!!! I wonder, if they're only out in the States, can someone buy me some?!

All in all, I can't wait for this. I can't imagine it will be awesome, but I do think it will be an awful lot of fun. I just don't like Jackson and Johansson.

I want the Iron Man ones. If those were real sunglasses, I would buy them and wear them proudly (And, knowing the merchandise storm that will hit with this movie, that may be likely.).

I downloaded a cam version of this last night. I am soooo tempted to watch it.

It deserves to be seen on the big screen first, not a blurry mess with not so good sound. Save that for the re-watch!

I watched the first ten minutes, just to see the quality of the cam recording (I swear.), and it wasn't a great cam. Not great. Not horrible. The sound is worse than anything.

I don't think I'll watch the rest, though. The sound is pretty bad. LOVED seeing Pepper Potts though. Wasn't expecting that.

From what I've heard the dialogue sound is generally pretty bad - I know I mentioned it on fb - but a friend went to see it at another cinema and it was equally bad. So, a crappy copy is going to sound even crapper.

It's made worse because the jokes come thick and fast, so you're laughing when the next (too low) line comes!

If I go to see it again, I'm leaving it for a few weeks, so I might have a chance of not having to strain my ears!!!!!

I was thrilled to see Pepper. Wondering if Jane Foster or Rhodey will make a cameo. You have to wonder why Rhodey wouldn't be helping The Avengers.

The fast jokes means you'll be back for multiple viewings. Joss Whedon is no idiot.

I was on imdb.com today checking out The Avengers message boards. There's some amazingly childish feuding going on between The Avengers fans and Dark Knight Rises fans. It's amazing to think that adults could be posting the kind of garbage I've seen.

Seems that people don't understand that they are two completely different films, never mind the fact that one is the ending of a trilogy and one is the beginning of what is, (hopefully), a string of team films done right!

I suppose being a fan of one or the other makes a big difference. Add to that the fact that TDKR is all Warners have left in their stable. Once Nolan cuts his string they're funked.

Speaking of, it's probably my last roll of the dice with ANYTHING DC for the foreseeable future, so it will also be a sad thing

Anyway, I also lamented the non-mention of Rhodey. When you look at the people that do get a mention/feature, you'd think flipping WAR MACHINE would get a mention. The name says it all. They were in a war. They needed a machine. 2+2? I would have liked some nod in the direction that Rhodey was busy on the front lines serving his country elsewhere in the world or something, but no, not a mention. I don't think it's a spoiler that I've said that...
