I figured this would be a good thread for all our bookworms here. Just tell us what book you are currently reading or have just read. Reviews are always welcomed. I'll start....

The book i'm currently reading is Star Wars: The Mandalorian Armor. It's the first book in The Bounty Hunter Wars. I'm only on chapter 4 but so far it's very cool. It's the star wars novel where Boba Fett escapes the sarlacc pit. The book is about Prince Xizor proposing a plan to Darth Vader and the Emperor to destory the power of the Bounty Hunter Guild. They plan on pitting the members against each other so that only the strong survive, and would than be used against the rebellion. But along the way Boba Fett discovers what the Empire is truely doing.

When i'm finished i'll give my full review.

I just finshed reading a title from the Justice League series of novels:

Green Lantern: Hero's Quest, written by Dennis O'Neil. As much as I loved reading Knightfall, this book didn't really do it for me. Simply because this Kyle Rayner was a stranger. His origin was completely revamped and I was quite sad. And some bits got quite technical with the ring. But Batman is spot on biggrin.gif

I'm now reading JLA: Exteminators and have a whole stack of books left to read, the list in another thread.

Finished Ancient Tales. Actually, avid reader that I am, I'm usually reading (and re-reading) more than one title.

When I have time to concentrate, in the evenings, I turn to more weighty topics (i.e. Bible commentary and Jewish Philosophy). Some of it is a good deal more user-friendly than one would think. But I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea.

On the subway, I'm currently reading Broken Days. It's by Ann Rinaldi--YA historical fiction, part two in a trilogy about three generations of an American family in the mid-19th (and I would guess by part three, early 20th) century.

And, when I don't have time to concentrate at home, I'm rereading Tamora Pierce's Lioness Rampant.

Comics are generally purchased Wednesdays at lunch, and read on the remainder of my lunch, my afternoon break, and the subway ride home...

Scary. I'm about a third of the way through "The Approaching Storm", the Star Wars book that takes place right before "Attack of the Clones". After that, I've got "Shatterpoint", a Clone Wars novel featuring Mace Windu and then back to the EU with Tim Zahn's "Survivor's Quest" which leads into his new novel coming out this summer, I believe.

Never knew there was a female scripted version of zorro...

At any rate, I'm currently reading Orson Scott Card's Shadow of the Hegemon.

Anyone started the new Harry Potter book yet?

Argghh!! Now I've got to go put my name on the wait list at the library (I don't buy hardbacks, except comic related).

I wanted to hold off and re-read #5 again, but I may have to just go for it, and ask questions of other fans when I don't remeber something that happened before.

I noticed the critic reviews (I avoided ones with spoilers) were somewhat split on this one.

And I pretty much couldn't put down any of them once I started. They were addictive, page-turners!
