Hey all - just curious...was anyone else collecting the Young Justice action figures, that came with the pieces for the Hall of Justice that you could build??

They were coming out in waves of four figures...the first four were Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad & Icicle Jr., the next wave was Connor, Black Canary, Vandal Savage, and Captain Atom. The third wave was supposed to have the final pieces of the Hall of Justice, and I believe the figures were Sportsmaster, Stealth Robin, Stealth Aqualad, and my personal favorite, Stealth Kid Flash (if you don't know why that's my favorite, then you may not have seen the episode where Wally can't stop changing his suit from regular to 'stealth mode' - probably one of the funniest lines ever!!).

At any rate, I'm just curious if anyone has been able to find any of the Wave 3 figures yet? I've been trying, and trying (AND TRYING!) to find them, so that I can complete the set, and more importantly, finally construct the full Hall of Justice for my shelf! Has anyone had any luck, and if so, can you share maybe what stores you've found them in?

I'm not that concerned about the figures themselves, but I'm COMPLETELY frustrated by the fact that I have a 1/2-built Hall of Justice sitting there...it feels like the Death Star from ROTJ!! tongue.gif

I'll be honest, I didn't even know there were action figures!!

I presume they've been out if you can't find them?

Aren't any of the shops near you stocking them/on their websites?! unsure.gif

Yes, they started releasing the first wave when the series first aired early last year....the second wave followed shortly after...As I mentioned, the third wave has been released, because I've seen people online mentioning that they have bought some of the figures, but no information where they found them. And I haven't found them online anywhere, except ebay, which had them for $50 each!!! I wouldn't pay that, even if it DID mean completing my Hall of Justice!! smile.gif Most store websites that I have seen simply won't sell specific action figures on them...not sure why, but they seem to prefer the "just come to a store to see what they have" method! (VERY FRUSTRATING!)

There's a Target next to my gym, and I jumped in there real quick yesterday to see if I could help you out. I didn't find anything in the latest wave. Could you try calling some speciality comic stores to see if they have them for sale? Midtown Comics in Manhattan springs to mind.

http://www.midtowncomics.com/store/dp.asp?...Justice_1196068

It's listed as $9.99 but out of stock, but they may be able to put you on a list for one or something.

Harrison's comics in Salem, MA might be helpful too

Hey Will, thanks for checking for me!

I hear what you're saying about buying it from comic shops...I guess I have two opinions on that. One, it seems like the prices are generally jacked up on it from those places, although the Midtown price seems really good, if they were in stock. The other part of it is...there's something about the 'thrill of the hunt', and trying to find it yourself, you know?

I guess I raised the question here, mainly to see if anyone knew of other stores, besides Target, that might be selling them, so that I could look locally. Wal-Mart has been no help on this so far...same with Toys R Us. So, I thought others might have suggestions.

I've also heard snippets of conversation that mentioned Mattel was discontinuing the Young Justice line of action figures, due to poor sales. So, I was hoping to hear if anyone else heard that or not.

This is why I don't usually get into toy collecting... unsure.gif

Hmmm.... And getting midtown to reserve you one isn't a completed hunt? tongue.gif

I haven't kept up with toys at all lately, I had to let a hobby go cause cash was tight. Other than picking up an odd Nightwing figure to give out as a prize, I haven't the foggiest as to what's up with Mattel and DC direct. I'll keep my eyes peeled though.

Lego! It's all about the Lego!

*ahem*

I, too, find comic shops over priced. Forbidden Planted has a good handful of quid on stuff that you can find in another toy shop. They have a good handful of quid on stuff from Travelling Man. And in Manchester, Travelling Man is just around the corner!

Places like Forbidden Planet trade on their names and I've seen more than a few dumb parents being dragged around in there by kids! unsure.gif

I think you're in real trouble sir, I went to Target the other day, and there wasn't a single Young Justice toy there!
