Hi all! I'm relatively new to collecting action figures, and so this may be a completely "newbie" question, but here goes....

My partner just texted me saying that he'd found a Nightwing 3-pack, consisting of Robin, Batwoman and Nightwing. But apparently, the Nightwing is not his normal costume, but a RED and black version (seen here on Ebay). Until now, I've never seen or heard of this, but I definitely texted back to pick it up!!

Anybody know what's up with this set, and more specifically, this costume? I don't ever remember that in the comics, but my memory fades on these things sometimes! Just curious if this is a REAL find, or if I'm just kind of out-of-the-loop on it...

Oops...wait...nevermind. NOW, I know what this is. After searching around some more, I discovered that this is really a BROWN and RED suit...and its the one from when Dick "goes bad" to work with Deathstroke and Ravager(??).

Not my favorite storyline, but it does make an interesting "find" for the collection!

Wow, that is an interesting find! I believe these figures are like 4 inches tall. And yeah, that is the costume from Devin Grayson's final run on the book, where he goes bad and works with Deathstroke.

That is pretty cool actually. I kind of liked the Renegade costume myself.

Yeah, it is definitely unique, and I'm happy to have it! The paint job on it is not the best, however. It seemed a bit rushed. But it still is a neat addition to my collection!

Wow alot of these NW action figures people auction off on ebay look pretty sweet. ..Looks like I found my newest hobby!
(checking out this knightfall version of DG attm http://cgi.ebay.com/DC-Direct-Nightwing-6-...=item255bdf7f92 )
Random question, but anyone else wonder why Dick looked so stocky in his older costumes compared to his latest nightwing suit and even the batsuit where he can actually pass as 175 lbs? He almost seems like a bodybuilder and not a gymnast?
