Okay, another great issue in this series, it's very well done I think.

Steve Rogers is on the hunt for the maker of the new Super Soldier Serum, and he's completely being toyed with by his enemy! having so little knowledge of the hero and his backstory, I too feel like I'm being toyed with. Each turn and reveal is as much a surprise to me as it is to Steve.

We also get to see Steve tearing apart the Singapore underworld, looking for clues. That was a lot of fun.

I have no idea who the big bad guy is, but he's revealed at the end of this issue. The pacing is outstanding, and I think this is part of my enjoyment of Marvel right now. Instead of year long (or longer) storylines, we're treated to proper stories that have a beginning, middle and end, typically about 4 to 6 issues long each. But the next story builds on the conclusion of the first. So it's all nicely done.

I cant' wait to see how Steve gets out of the mess he's in!

I wasn't sure how Rogers coming back from the dead was going to affect the mantle of Captain America, the Avengers or the Marvel U as a whole Turns out, it's FANTASTIC! Bucky/Cap is fantastic as always, Rogers is head of Shield and a secret Avengers team, his outfit looks cool and he's basically blonde, American James Bond.

I LOVE this about Marvel. It's like a slaughterhouse lol. Nothing gets wasted. They try and develop every damn character they have somehow. Some fail, but a LOT succeed.

There are definitely two different approaches going on right now between DC and Marvel. That's a good thing, really. It's nice to have different flavors to choose from. I just happen to prefer the taste of Marvel right now. I like my Brubaker's Bendis', Pak's Millar's and Diggle's (Yes, I am enjoying Shadowland) and Fraction's more than I like my DC writers.
