Laria Michele Tomlinson

user posted image user posted image

GRADE: 12

FAMILY:
Mother: Kiera Tomlinson - 38
Father: Joshua Tomlinson - 40
Brother: Kyle Tomlinson - 17

SOCIAL STATUS:
Queen Bee; School Slut

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Laria Michele Tomlinson was born to rich loving parents when her mother was 20 and her father was 22. They were freshly married and still in college. They had a house already and money coming in from Laria's maternal grandparents. She was raised living down the block from her grandparents.

Then when she was one, her brother Kyle was born. According to her parents, they hated each other. And as they grew older, the animosity grew. It grew to the point where when Kyle was 14 and Laria found him doing drugs, he hit her. She never said anything. And three years later, when he's hitting her, she still doesn't say anything. And no one ever knows. She's a klutz and its common knowledge. And Kyle is smart enough to not hurt her in areas that are obvious.

Besides her brother, her life seems to be perfect. Her mother is a stay at home mother who has her own party planning service. She works from home, rarely going into her downtown office. Her father is the public defense attorney for Orange County CA. Everyone knows the Tomlinson family. They're a prominant part of Newport society.

With the perfect family, people always wonder why Laria turned to guys for comfort. She wonders sometimes but knows the real reason. She has constant insecurities. She feels like she isn't good enough for her family. She believes the things her younger brother tells her when he abuses her. She blames herself for the abuse, physical, mental, and the one count of sexual.

After Kyle raped her one night when he was stoned, she started going to parties. At first she said that it was to keep an eye on her brother so he didn't do that to anyone else. Or that's what she told herself.

One night at a party, she was flirting with a senior (she was a sophomore) and they ended up sleeping together. She loved how she felt during sex and she began sleeping with other guys, generally older with nice cars or something they could give her. Her already elevated popularity grew more with the guys. As her hook-ups became more legendary, she became known as a slut or a whore. She claimed she was neither of the two. Instead she was just promiscuous.

As time went on, Laria became increasingly self conscious when she wasn't having sex. She started to party more and then starve herself. When she did eat, she puked up the food.

In between starvation and beatings from her brother, she started to question that her friends were really her friends. She started to question the love of her parents and the people around her.

Laria is lost and looking for love, even if its just for a night.

Farrah Avery Monroe

user posted image user posted image

Grade: 12

FAMILY:
The Ever Famous Braden Monroe, and her mother, who left them for another man. No siblings.

SOCIAL STATUS:
New to the School, but people seem to like her.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Farrah Avery Monroe was born on July 14th, to two loving and caring parents. They knew right away that their daughter was going to go far in this world, possibly it was the fact that she had an extremely famous, and hard working father. Then there was her mother, a beautiful, radiant, young wife, who was a surgery assistant. Both of them had long hours, both of them loved each other very much, but not seeing each other as often as they should have started to tear them apart. In fact as Farrah grew up her parents were constantly at each others throats. Once she remembered coming home, and her father had been screaming at her mom, she tried to make him stop, seeing how upset her mom was, but her father spanked her, pushed her aside, and told her to go up to her room. Farrah spent the rest of the night crying, as she heard the fighting continue. Not soon enough, they stopped, and before she knew it her parents were talking and making it up again.

This seemed to go on forever to Farrah. She knew her parents didn't belong together, and even though she prayed for it to not happen, Farrah knew that one day her parents were going to divorce each other. On the outside they all seemed like the perfect family, church goers, wealthy people, with a daughter who was becoming more beautiful every day. Her mother had even put her into modeling when she was just ten years old. She did small things up, until she was fifteen. This was the beginning point of her career.

She took the fashion world by storm, but her life otherwise seemed to be spiraling down the drain. It had been almost three years since her mother left them, for another man. One she had been seeing for a little while. Her father had begun to drink heavily, and get into some trouble. This was not good, for either of them. Of course he would only get drunk enough on the days he had off, so that he wouldn't lose his job. But his temper was still the same, every day. He beat Farrah, and constantly told her how fat she was, even though she was just a tiny thing, he told her how worthless she was, and refused to let her pursue with music instead of modeling. She loved her music, and she still does. Her mother Camellia had taught her to play the piano and sing like an angel as some may say. But her want, her desire for music was never enough for her father. He believed she needed to promote herself through modeling, and when she moved out, and then she could do whatever she wanted.

Once her father came home, not even fully drunk, and he found Farrah playing the piano, and singing some material she had written herself. Instead of being proud, or curious like any other father would, he through her down off the piano bench, and slapped her, asking her what she thought she was doing acting like her mother. This had only gotten Farrah mad; she had pushed him off, and spit on him, saying that she didn't want to see him again. She tried to get away, but her father drug her back down, and hit her again. He locked her in her bedroom for days without food or water. It seemed that nothing could change his ways. Until one day, when one of his co-workers found out about his drinking problem, and helped him into rehab. That wasn't too long ago however, and since the addiction was so far in, he is only slowly getting through with it. Thankfully he has stopped drinking every night and only drinks once a week. He does however still have a horrible temper, and takes things out on Farrah.

When her situation started to look brighter, Farrah was finally smiling again and starting to go back to church. Her father was actually spending time with her, and in a good way. They were finally connecting. Although he did lose his temper and beat her on occasion, she had grown used to it, and figured more time with her father, and beatings later were better then just being beaten. Farrah's smile soon faded however, when she was raped at a party. She was held down, like the night of the piano incident, and the guy had forced himself into her. Farrah had tried to scream for help, but the guy was too strong, and before she knew it. It was all over, and the whole school knew about it. He had bragged about nailing the Beauty Queen of the school. When really had taken advantage. Her father decided that his daughter wouldn't be able to deal with the pain any longer, and he moved them out here to Newport.

Things are starting to look a lot better for the father, daughter, pair. Braden is still going to rehab, and he is taking anger management classes, so that he won't hurt his daughter. But Farrah is hurting herself. She has always been a partier, and when she was fourteen she had taken her troubles, and figured that alcohol was the solution to solving them. Even if she denies it, she is starting to be like her dad. Not abusive, in fact she is extremely sweet. The best friend everyone wants. Everyone at school seems to want to 'explore the new girl' but there are some things that Farrah won't admit to. Especially if she hasn't admitted them to herself.

Farrah wants to have a good school year, her last year to be exact. With good people, who don't know about her, or her fathers past. With so many parties, and so much booze will the truth be let out? Or can the Heiress find a way to keep her inner most secrets to herself? We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

SOCIAL STATUS:
Smart Catholic Girl
with her head on her shoulders

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Bevin Nicole Marsh was born on May 3rd,1990 in Parkersburg,West Virginia at St. Joesph's Catholic Hospital. She was the first child of her mom's second marriage. Bevin grew up in a catholic environment, she went to church every sunday from the time she was born until well now. Even though her mom has divorced before, she expects Bevin to find one guy and stick with him and to never have premarital sex. Bev wanting to make her mom happen abidded by her mom's house rules and rules of life.

In school Bev was seen as the one of the most smart girls around, after all she skipped a grade making her one of the only 16 year olds in the 12th grade. People knew she wasn't just grade smart but not stupid enough to throw herself into bad situations and avoid them all together. That was until Bevin met the love of her life, Adam. Adam and Bevin seemed perfect together, they held hands in public, cuddled, shared deep conversations and even went on dates every weekend. To the outside, everything was perfect between them, but inside the relationship it was chaotic. No one ever knew that Adam was infact an abusive boyfriend. Every fight Bevin ever had with him ended up with a mark across her face or in a unvisual place to make it seem like it was her fault and not his. The first one to notice was Bev's guy best friend Marshall, he couldn't believe someone could do such a thing to his Bevin and begged her to tell someone before he had to take action himself. After finally realizing what Adam was doing to her was too much, Bevin dumped him and voweled to never see his sorry face again.

Shortly after the break up, Bevin started to rethink her life and what she had to offer in life. One night she hit up the big party of the year and found herself face to face with a decision to take ecstacy, zanex,or vikendin(sp). Giving in she grabbed the E tablet and headed off to have some fun. Even though she was considered so smart, it never dawned on her that these drugs were infact addictive ones, they made her feel so good that she didn't want to give them up. From that day on, Bev had a pill addiction, one that she had to take care of daily or it would drive her insane, not many people know about her new found addiction. Even the best fall down sometimes.

Hayden Christopher Monroe

user posted image user posted image

GRADE: 12th; Senior

FAMILY:
David & Alie Monroe are his parents, he also has an older brother Toven, and two younger sisters, Kahlen, and Hejsa.

SOCIAL STATUS:
Schools MVP, Mr. Popular, Stud.

HOUSE TYPE:
A two story house, a family house. In Queen Street.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Hayden Monroe was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 19th of 1988. His parents David & Alie Monroe are in the Management business "Monroe Management". Hayden grew up in Markham, Ontario, Canada, one of four children (Kaylen, Hejsa, ). Although his aspirations changed and regardless of not having his father's approval, Hayden set out to become an Surfer when a chance encounter at the age of eight placed him in his first contest, for PacSun clothing. When he was thirteen he began his starring roles in several dramatic television shows. His big break came when he was surfing in Hawaii.

Hayden plays guitar as well as surfing, but it isn't anything big, just something he does on the side. He loves surfing, and right now is very much sponsered, by Bongo, and a few other big surfing names. He gets payed enough to have his own place, his own car, his dog, and new surf things when he needs it. So Hayden figures he's getting payed the right amount. 'I don't have so much money that I don't know what to do with it' is one of the many quotes you'll hear form him. Always one to like to have a good time, Hayden never really can be too serious. The 'ClassClown' was what you might consider him. Although he knows how to shut off the silliness, which is a really good thing.

Denny as friends like to call him, is also quite the ladies man. He's charming, attractive, and will always be willing to treat them to anything they want. He's the best friend everyone wants, and the boyfriend every girl wants. All around Hayden is pretty much loved...by everyone but his father.

Even when he was little he and his dad didn't get along, he knew that they wouldn't have the best relationship, and they don't. His dad used to beat him, saying that he could never do anything right, and that he was a disgrace to the family. He would beat him sometimes until the point where he couldn't stand for days, so Hayden didn't get to go to school as often as he would have liked. This later on lead to a slight alcohol addiction, he couldn't help it, he felt that this was one thing that could shelter him from everything else. His Father left his mother to care for all three children, and luckily she had her own buisness so they were making money. Hayden however, got a job at a young age of fourteen, and started bring income to the house as well. He was the man of the house I guess you could say.

Aside from surfing, he is also the schools Quarterback, for the championship team (five years running), and the Center Forward and Captain for the Soccer team. Hayden makes friends easily, and with looks, and talent like his, he is very popular around school. He used to Live by Farrah, in California, but never really told anyone about the abuse....because Farrah hadn't letten him know for quite some time. He could see the bruising on her, he could see how hurt she was inside, and out, and he wanted so desperatly to do something.

It was devistating for him when his best friend moved away. He had lost someone he cared for deeply, and would do anything to protect. It got so bad that Hayden even started to drink, something he was never fond of. When his mother found out she made him stop, and since then he's sobered up. He only has a few drinks every now and then. It was a great day, when he found out that Farrah was moving to the same community he had lived in for awhile, Newport. Now Mr. Studley has his friend back in his life, and has been showing her a bit around the school. Because he knows how rough it is to be the new kid.

Right now Hayden just wants to have fun and deal with his sports. He can get into the part scene quit a bit, but he knows that isn't good especially if he will start drinking again. Hayden is looking to find someone special to spend some time with, be the only one they want to be with...at least for awile. We'll just see how that works out.

Angela Kacie Dillon

PICTURES COMING SOON

GRADE: sophomore—15

FAMILY
Mom: Deborah (34)
Half-Brother: Martin (7)
Half-Sister: Kelly (7)

SOCIAL STATUS:
aloof and distant, no one really knows her

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Angie was born in southern Tennessee to an unmarried college student named Deborah and a man who cared so little about them both that he was gone by the time Angie was born. One of her earliest memories is of asking her mother what a “daddy” was, after a girl in her pre-school class mentioned one. When Angie was five years old, her mother sat her down to address something she had been considering for a few weeks. Before she had a chance to open her mouth, Angie, with a small child’s fascination for shiny objects gleefully admired the new ring on her mother’s left hand.

Sure enough, three months later, Angie walked down the aisle sprinkling flower petals for her mother’s second wedding. Her new father’s name was Ben, and in Angie’s mind, he could do no wrong. For a few short years, Angie had the perfect life. A mother and father who adored her, and if they were occasionally “mean” to her, she nonetheless loved them back. At the age of five, Angie had finally acquired what most children had from birth: a Daddy. Materially, as well, she was better off than she could ever have imagined.

Unsurprisingly, a single mother who dropped out of college to take care of her daughter was hardly rolling in spare cash, but Ben was employed by a high-profile computer company. Angie had more fun toys and nice things than she had known existed, and she was completely content.

But, of course, all good things must come to an end, and like all things, Angie’s perfect life dwindled with the arrival of two squalling infants when Angie was only eight years old.

Suddenly, her Daddy didn’t love her anymore, and even her mother had less time for her, so wrapped up was she in the constant changing of diapers, the incessant “Shh! The twins are asleep!” The only thing Angie could think to blame was the twins, and how she hated them! Every time her mother asked her to do something for the babies, whether it was to be quiet, or to bring a bottle from the fridge, Angie messed it up. She resented them more every time her mother told her, “Not right now, dear, Mommy’s tired.” Soon, every time she didn’t get her way, she blamed it on the twins.

After awhile, the twins grew up and about the time they started pre-school, Angie was beginning to realize that the world did not, in fact, revolve around her, and to forgive the little terrors for joining her family. Adopting the occasional baby-sitting chores, she spent more time with the twins, and came to appreciate their unique outlook on life. It had taken her four years, but finally she had adjusted to yet another new lifestyle.

She only got a year to enjoy it this time. The summer before she would have started at the local high school, there was a flurry of activity, and Angie found herself in California, trying to balance school with taking care of her mother and the twins.

Ben was hit by a car. And that was when Angie and Deborah found out the truth about him. He did not, in fact, work for a computer company; that was just his cover. He was an upper-level drug dealer, but he’d gotten in trouble recently. He owed large amounts of money to a tall, black-haired man who came to their house and demanded it of his surviving family, which, as it turned out, was in no position to maintain their own lifestyle, let alone meet this man’s extreme demands.

So they packed up their bags and took a flight to California, hoping the drug dealer’s contacts did not extend so far as the other coast. By the time they reached California, Angie’s mother was in dire straits. The death of her husband came as a shock from which Deborah would never completely recover. As soon as the family moved into a crappy apartment in Newport, Deborah fell into a fit of depression, occasionally accompanied by binge-drinking or suicide attempts. She couldn’t hold a job, or take care of the twins, which only worsened her depression, adding guilt of bad parenting to loss of a loved one.

Angie slowly took over the running of the household over that summer. She was responsible for dropping her mother off at work and picking her back up. She was responsible for taking Deborah’s paycheck from her before she spent it on frivolities. She was responsible for taking care of her younger sister and brother. She fell into a mind-numbing routine after awhile—the biweekly fights with her mother when she tried to take the paycheck, the constant penny-pinching in order to eat, the twins’ pleading cries for food or entertainment that ate at her soul.

And then school started. Angie’s routine changed little, at first: she still took her mother to and from work, she took the twins to school, and cared for them after, and now she did her homework late at night, often while holding her mother’s hand through fits of sobbing.

Her first year of school passed surprisingly quickly. The biggest hitch was that everyone around her was rich; all her friends, everyone about whose opinion she cared. Soon, she became terrified that someone would notice her cheap clothes, or find out where she lived. So she mostly kept to herself. There were a couple of girls with whom she was friendly, but she never had much of a social life outside of school. She went to a few of the larger parties, when her mother was sober, and discovered that, while mostly a social drinker, Angie has a high tolerance for alcohol that allows her to drink most of her peers under the table.

Angie wants desperately to have a social life, but with two seven-year-old siblings, and her mother unable to hold a job for more than a couple months, she’s the only one in her family responsible enough to make sure food is on the table every night. She can barely keep up with her family and her homework, let alone a social life into the bargain. More than anything, she wants to study law, and potentially work in child services or public defense helping others through the horrors she herself has experienced.

Isaac Montgomery Remington

user posted image user posted image

GRADE: 11; Junior

FAMILY:
His father is Mayor Lawrence Remington, the most influential man in Orange County. His mother is a famous fashion designer. Of course, Isaac hasn't lived with them since his fifteenth birthday, opting instead to live with his older sister Jane Remington.

SOCIAL STATUS:
The Mysterious One; The Quiet One; The Musician

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
July 2, 1989, the mayor of Newport Beach sat in a hospital room as his wife gave birth to another doe eyed child, this time a boy. Right away, they dubbed him Isaac Montgomery Remington and automatically had high hopes for the boy. They thought that he'd follow in his father's footsteps and pave the way to another state championship in basketball, football, and soccer. They also dreamed that he'd go to Harvard or Yale on a full ride and go into politics like his father. They wanted Mini-Montgomery.

And as he grew up, they realized the hopes they had would never come true. Whenever they attempted to get him into a sport, he'd stumble around with the ball before finally being either kicked off the teams (even little league) or making the executive decision to quit.

The dreams of him succeeding in academia were still going strong though. Until he turned 13 and got kicked out of the all boys junior high he'd been attending in the ritzy section of Newport. He had gotten kicked out for smoking marijuana in the school bathroom.

Within the next year, life worsened for him. His parents always rode him to be better, to be perfect. The more they got onto him the more he retreated into the guitar, a present from his older sister Jane. And when he turned fourteen, things took a turn for the worse, when he already thought they couldn't go farther down.

His father broke his guitar in a drunken rage and then began to abuse him. His mother didn't do anything to stop it. His sister had just graduated from college and lived across town with her high school sweetheart Jared and never knew. Then one day, she came down and saw the bruises on her brother. That was Isaac's fifteenth birthday and the last time he lived with his parents.

Isaac's life became happier after moving in with Jane into the numbered streets. He lacked the physical comforts that he'd grown to enjoy, including new gaming systems after his father's rages, and the new guitar he'd gotten after his father broke his first one. Instead he was filled with a sense of safety.

But like all good things, it didn't last. Jane got pregnant and Jared skipped town. Nine months later, Isaac was taking care of not only his sister but his baby nephew, along with balancing music and the semblance of normalcy he liked to portray at Newport Union.

Jared eventually came back, arms full of long stemmed white roses and an explanation to why he left. He'd been doing drugs and didn't want the baby to have to deal with that. Isaac gave over his responsibilties towards Ethan, his nephew to the father. Life seemed back to normal.

Now Isaac is starting his junior year at Newport Union. He still sees his father on the news and his mother on the runway. He watches as his sister fawns over her now husband and her son. And all he wants is a place to belong.

He tried belonging at parties but couldn't get into it. The only place he felt he belonged was in the clubs, playing music. And the downfall to going to clubs on a nightly basis was that he was constantly around smoke and booze. He began to drink and smoke marijuana again. He knows that if Jane or Jared discovered this habit, he'd be homeless.

He doesn't know what he wants. He just knows that he wants to find a home somewhere, a home that feels like his. He wants a home where he doesn't have to pretend and he hopes he can find that home in the heart of one that he could eventually love.
