We were talking about Chernobyl a few weeks ago, and the 'Elephant's Foot' came up... Which is a pile of congealed fuel and corium in the basement of Chernobyl that apparently weighs something like 1,200 tons despite being only a couple of meters across. The video isn't the best quality, but it's still kinda cool. |
