 Recent Watches

This was Bolte's idea, to have a thread where we talk about recent watches, and hopefully help declutter the anti-topic--and I went ahead and did it. (Hope you don't mind Bolte)

I, uh, have a lot of stuff I need to watch. I did watch Ultra Maniac today, which is an older magical girl show by the creator of Marmalade Boy. It's not that great, I'm not sure if it's even good, but I'm actually liking it purely for the reason it's dubbed, mindless, and as long as you don't try to take it seriously, actually kinda fun.

Just keeping up with Toradora, Kemono no Souja Erin, and Ippo. But I'm also stockpiling a bunch of series right no - I plan to get a lot of watching done during Spring Break.

Currently keeping up with too many series: Maria+Holic, Toradora, Hetalia, the Haruhi net animes... Beyond that, wanting to marathon a few series I have, but havn't had the time.

I saw the first episode of the Higurashi OAV. I can't decide if that was dumb or awesome.

The soul brothers. XDD

I hear from some sources that Higurashi is pretty decent and from other sources roughly 11 feet to the left of the first sources that it is really messed up. Which means I might check it out.

I recently watched Ouran High School etc, enough Gurren Lagann, Afro Samurai, Claymore (what's dubbed so far anyway), and am plodding through Air Gear. Next up I'll probably skim Code Geass and Eureka 7 to see what's up with 'em, ditch those and watch something I'll like, which I have not decided yet. Perhaps I'll finally watch some more Champloo, but who knows.

I need that recommended reading list >.>

Apparently I'm the only one keeping up with RideBack. Makes me sad that not many people are watching this.

I am too, but I tend to sit on episodes for awhile. Up to the latest release though.

Despite my whining, I'm still watching. I'm just more interested in video games right now then watching anything-as much as enjoy anime usually moreso then video games, video games are extremely destressing for me.

So I've watched nothing this week.

You know, maybe we should put a staff picks and required reading section on the website once con's over. Or maybe it's a stupid idea. I can't really tell the difference.

I failed to mention I also watched rather recently the Girl who Leapt Through Time. Also I didn't watch all of Air Gear as it was becoming boring but I did watch the last couple episodes and sure enough they were exceedingly boring so I will declare completion.

Maybe I'll snatch Trinity Blood so I can watch it on the T.V. whilst I do something else. The bothersome thing with anime is it has to be rather entertaining to justify watching it being my sole activity and since it takes a good 12 hours to watch a series and my computer shenanigans take maybe an hour (of which I usually can't watch anything and know what's going on) this becomes a conundrum. Maybe I'll get something to run into the T.V. on one of my outings.

Joe, Ben has Trinity Blood. Hasn't gotten around to watching it yet though.

Me personally, Last thing I watched was Ergo Proxy (omfg what a good series,) and I was working through Tenjho Tenge before that - I need to get back to doing that and just finish the series. I probably should finish Nadeisco too...
