Is anyone here a fan of it? I got into it after reading the manga, and after I read most of that, I saw the anime, and it was great!
It's by Ken Akamatsu, the same creator as Love Hina, is it? Negima is the story of a ten year old wizard, Negi Springfield, who graduates from his wizard school and becomes the teacher of a Japanese Junior High English class. But... it's an all-girl school. I loved the animation and the art style. MUST see! |

I  Eva-Chan.
Actually, the manga/scanlations are much superior to the anime. (Except I think the festival plot has dragged out WAY too long.) |

Ah, yes. Plus, Kotaro (I hope his name is Kotaro...o_o) isn't in the anime, which disappointed me.
Nodoka is definately my favorite <3 But, you're right, the manga is much better. Plus, in the anime, they have some peculiar angles which make their faces seem very... odd-shaped. |

I love this series. I own volumes 1-5 of it...but have read a bit higher than that online. I can't wait to get volumes 6-9. I'm holding out on buying it because I'm hoping that someone'll be selling it at the con I'm hoping to find Deathnote too, there.
That aside, my favorite character is most likely Nodoka. She's just so shy and adorable, and to be honest, her crush on Negi doesn't bother me much. I like Konoka too. I'd say I'm a bit like her. What was her birthdate again? Oh, I like the twins too. They're just too adorable. lol I've never seen the anime, although, I am curious as to what they sound like. |

Hmm, all I know for the english dub is [I think] Greg Ayres as Negi. I haven't seen the dub [is it even released yet?] so I don't know. Personally, i think they did a great job with the voices for the sub. I loved it! <3
The twins kind of annoy me >>; But... my second favorite character would have to be... wow. I'm not sure. Maybe Eva-chan. Hehe. |

For grins and giggles, last night I uploaded my Negima AMV to youtube. Eat your heart out, Harry Potter. A re-imaging of the fight between Negi and Evangeline...

Ironic, last night after I made that post, I came across a site with eps for download. The ep I got was ep 24, I think, and believe me, I was so lost. I think Ijust majorly spoiled myself there. ^^; That aside, it was nice to hear the characters' voices. They seem to suit all of them, although, I never heard Asuna's much for the ep because of what had happened and totally threw me. |

You watched 24 without knowing the rest ? O________O Spoilers galore. O_O Man, that's just.. suicide. But, yeah, if that's the episode I think it is...then yeah. I like how they did the voices. You can get most of the episodes [i think] on Youtube. I just ordered the series from ebay >>; |

Yep, I spoiled myself, but I skimmed it mostly. I'll read up that far eventually. It's like a part of me would like to watch it, and a part of me doesn't. |

I've only read all that's released in America, do you read the Japanese version or anything? If not, the manga isn't nearly as far....

I keep up with 'scanlations' from stoptazmo.com which are pretty close to direct translations. Stoptazmo is currently up to around chapter 123 or 124. (Roughly Vol. 14 or 15 of the collected manga.)
Dell's translations are a little looser (And vol 4 was totally horrid. ) but generally do a better job of capturing the humor than direct translations. |

I enjoy the series both in Manga format and the anime format. While the anime format was nowhere near as good as the manga format in terms of story it was nice to put a voice with the manga pages and overall I just like the universe that is setup around the series.
