| Revoluticon was an interesting place, primarily because of one interaction..a missed opportunity. I have long thought of women that dress in a sexual cosplay as beneath what I stood for, they were easy, weak willed and dependent on the attention they get from the crowd. Not real willpower or strength of character. This con (revoluticon) changed that. It started with the usual judgement while I was playing a card game about Drunken adventuring or something, nobody actually played to many discussions and distraction, when a woman came in wearing one such costume that I judged in the way I did before. Yeah they were attractive but, in the end I decided, not worth engaging. I let it go, however, later on I saw them at an event that a friend convinced me to go to, the hentai olympic, normally I would never go to such a thing as I generally ignore my sexual desires, again taking the metaphorical high road. However it was there i saw this woman again, on stage, participating in the games. Normally my previous assumption would be valid and it may well be but, going on stage something in her movements didn't seem like the attention seeker i had created in my mind for this person. later on, I went to play Blitzball in the pool, ignoring my pimpled back to have some fun the only way i really know how, physically. It was here I saw her again. Still attractive but, now I saw her embodying the things I respect in a person. She was a female not afraid to get in the middle of a very physical game and not apprehensive about it at all. When someone was needed for a task that they didn't seem to want but, nobody else volunteered, they did. In the end, i have to question those generalities, sure there are the weak types that need the attention like a parasite but now, I need to realize that I have been filtering out people not just on that but many different reasons and missing out on people that I actually can connect with. In the end, I can see people in a lot more broad a light, and I'm grateful to this person for showing me that. I hope she reads this and I hope she gets the message; keep being awesome. |

| We were at Otani partying with Chef Honda when the storm hit. We had no idea anything was up until the tornado sirens went off and someone checked outside and saw the swirly black death clouds. I suggested firing up the karaoke system and singing "Riders on the Storm," but nobody else seemed amused. Then we drove home and got blasted by golf ball-sized hail. It was pretty crazy. | |

| Was anyone in the hotel for the tornado afterwards? That was freaky. We were tearing down the con and then people saw swirly clouds outside.. D: |

| I affectionately nicknamed Revoluticon "Badge Check Con", as that's 90% of what I did last weekend, however it was still a great time and I'm glad everyone else seems to agree |
