So, as Revoluticon draws closer, I felt it was a good idea to start talking about this years Pokemon League at Armageddicon! Thusly: my partner in crime, Charlie, along with myself, decided it would be a fantastic idea to hold a meta-gaming panel teaching about the things that often get overlooked. But it just won't be all about stats and such, we'll also go over certain strategies and things that work well together.

All in all it should be a fun panel and I hope to see you all there.

This is just a prototype, so nothing is finalized about this as of yet. This is how we plan on the league working this year:

Round 1-
Outside tabletop, there we be Gym Leaders rotating out each hour on Friday and Saturday (there will be a schedule, hopefully) and your goal is to gather all 8 badges. Don't worry it won't be the brutes like last year, that's for later.

Round 2-
Is on early Sunday. Those who collect all 8 badges earn the right to face off with other players in a bracket style, single elimination tournament. The top 8 remaining trainers gain the right to advance to...

Round 3-
You've earned the right at this point to face off against our Elite Four and our Champion. These ones are the toughest of the tough that only the trainers that have proved their mettle can face. Upon defeating all of these trainers, each player who succeeds gains access to a prize on our "List of Special Things". What are they? Compete to find out!

Addendum to Round 1-
There's only 8 gym badges, right?
If you want to be Gary MF Oak, there will be two 'Mystery' Gym Leaders Stalking around the con. The title doesn't gain you any special advantages, but be honest with yourselves, who doesn't want to call themselves that?
