I have no cosplay what so ever for saturday. I honestly don't wanna be Rat Yuki since its so damn hot >< So does anyone need a cosplay partner at all? I'll be willing to join you JUST AS LONG as its NOT a Naruto or Bleach cosplay. I've retired those cosplays.

Personally, I think you should go watch Gurren Lagann, and then cosplay something from it. Simply because it is THAT EPIC and it deserves the cosplay XD

Try out something from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, maybe.

I think it'd be easier for you to pick out something first and then see if anyone wants to join you. That way people aren't making you do something that you 1) have no clue what the show is, and 2) may not have the sewing talent for. My :2cents: . ^_^

My friend wanted me to cosplay from Vampire Doll, but I don't think my sewing skills are that high yet XD I was thinking of something simple like a pokemon cosplay but then again, I don't really have any money to spend on fabric X3; So I'm still pretty stumped 8];;

Well, there is always the option to not have a saturday cosplay. I know, heresy, but I really do think that if you can't afford to do a costume right, you should hold off on doing it until you can.

What's wrong with Naruto? I know that all bleach costumes look the same, but Naruto has some pretty diverse costumes, so long as you don't just wear an Akatsuki coat.

Why not do Sasami? You look pretty good with blue hair.

MoonlightCurse, what's wrong with wearing the same costume for more than one day at a con? I don't think it's necessary to have three different costumes for every con you go to.

Yea, I've only had one cosplay, and the next cosplay I wear, which who knows when that'll be, will also be a one cosplay throughout con event. I don't claim to have the time and money to waste getting 3 cosplays per convention. Course, I'm not really motivated to make one every couple years, but my point remains valid...ish.

If nothing else, it helps people recognize you. If ya keep changing clothes, hair, hat, shoes, etc. then it's going to be a bit difficult for all those new friends to find you that we all want to make. Course, that's just for newer ones really, but it does happen =P

Actually, Mike, I don't blame her for that slip - for a second there, I thought you meant there was a character named Sasami in Naruto, you kind of switched abruptly without giving any indication!

That said, Sasami's wig would be a bit of a bitch to do, so I honestly wouldn't suggest it for a lower-budget saturday cosplay.

Why not do Kiyal, from Gurren Lagann? http://www.gurren-lagann.net/chara/kiyal.html Absolutely adorable, one of the simpler (while still not being freaking revealing OMFG YOKO) and less expensive cosplays from the series, and don't you have a long black wig from another one of your cosplays? I thought I remembered seeing one...

Manabu Yuki from Galaxy Railways. God, plenty of the rite-of-passage protagonists in Leiji Matusmoto's stuff (Tetsuo from Galaxy Express 999, Daiba from Captain Harlock).

Gally from GUNNM. Easier cosplay would be found in the manga.

Nana Osaki from Nana-- she has tons of outfits to work with in the anime and manga. I think you'd make a really good Nana, actually.

Ooh I've cosplayed as Nana Osaki before! It was wayy too much fun. I even made custom stickers that said BLACK STONES and BLAST to stick on my guitar.
