Lighting Elemental Chart, Work in Progress
Posted: Feb 17 2006, 09:18 PM

Name: Lightning Technique Chart
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Any
Special Items: None
Description: Lightning elemental jutsus. While massively powerful, these are hard to control and take massive amounts of chakra. When learning these jutsus one must practice their chakra control greatly. Without enough skill these jutsus can backfire and harm the user.
  • Paralyzing Shock (Sutangan no Jutsu)
    Chakra: 1,250
Description: Sends a small bolt of lightning into the foe in order to stun them for a very brief time.
  • Lightning Warp (Raikou Sori no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 2,000
Description: Allows the user to move as fast as lighting to another area close by. From the amount of concentration needed, and the amount of hand signs, this is almost useless in battle.
  • Lighting Palm (Raikou Hirate no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 5,000
Description: The user concentrates lightning into their palm before slamming their hand down upon the ground, sending the lightning towards their opponent.
  • Dual Lighting Palm (Raikou Dyuaru Hirate no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 10,000
Desription: The user may now concentrate lighting into both their palms, giving this attack greater power and versatility.
  • Veil of Light (Fukumen Jinkourai no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 12,500
Description: Creates a wall of pure electricity around the user. This wall is almost impossible to penetrate with taijutsu, and blocks most ninjutsu as well. The downside is that it takes enormous amounts of chakra to maintain.
  • Lightning Strike (Shuurai no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 15,000
Description: A highly concentrated bolt of electricity. While it doesn’t do as much damage as the Electric Blast, it has the side effect of shutting down the part of the body it hit by overloading the nerves.
  • 200,000 Volts (Kouatsu no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 20,000
Description: A dangerous, yet powerful jutsu. The user concentrates enough lightning onto their own body to create a field of 200,000 volts on themselves. While when first created they will be shielded from the lightning, that shield will soon break. Before that happens they must release the energy into something else. Simply getting close to someone is enough to transfer all of it.
  • Thunderstorm (Raiu no Jutsu)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: 40,000
Description: A very powerful jutsu. It creates a thunderstorm by the user. Unlike with normal thunderstorms, the user can aim where, and how often, the lightning strikes. The downside of this powerful jutsu is that it takes almost all of the chakra of the user to perform, and if the user loses their concentration the storm will run out of control.
Yes, I know the names suck. I didnt bother thinking of good names, I just worked on the general idea behind them.
