Probably the most boring of the three. Kazuma is not very adept at social situations, but not necessarily anti-social. He has a quiet attitude and looks up to Akihiko.
The youngest of the Tamaki brothers by a year, Kazuma is certainly the most quiet. His younger years were spent with Akihiko and Suzaku looking after him, with Akihiko doing most of the work. Suzaku would sit and toy around with Kazuma almost every minute of the day. Suzaku would get scolded for his actions, but -needless to say- that did not stop Suzaku from having his fun.
Kazuma's Academy years came all too fast. Akihiko was about ready to become a Genin, and Suzaku seemed to distance himself from the family. He even started to feel he was going to be alone soon himself. This feeling in its own way influenced Kazuma's choice of techniques. His way of coping with it was using fear genjutsu, trying to teach himself the mental aspects of a human with an analysis of fear. Largely keeping this "analysis" to himself, Kazuma would use his genjutsu as a prank when Suzaku set up tricks for other classmates.
Being not very good at taijutsu and ninjutsu were the biggest weaknesses Kazuma had. This carried over into his Genin years, and for a while hurt his team because the other two had a dislike for people who used genjutsu and thought of them as cowards. However, the truth was the team could barely survive without Kazuma's particular genjutsu; especially when Suzaku's team decided to have some fun with them. It seemed genjutsu helped against a shadow bind user long enough to either have him captured, or distracted enough for Kazuma's team to escape.
When the Chuunin exams went underway, Kazuma again helped his team gather swift victories with his jutsu. Alongside this, he had also learned medical ninjutsu, increasing his value to the team drastically. It was hard to determine whether his teammates had changed their minds about genjutsu people, but at the very least had respect for Kazuma by this point. This team had made chuunin rank as easily as Suzaku's team, and Kazuma felt some pride in himself for really the first time. In his thoughts, making it to Chuunin was something to be proud about and Genin was basically handed to an Academy student who paid attention in class and did well. Now that he was a Chuunin, he actually hardly had many missions and this led to a pretty uneventful first couple of Chuunin years. Still a fresh chuunin, Kazuma can now join Suzaku and Akihiko and they can become Jounin together.

- Unari no Jutsu (Screech)
Description: Basic attempt to distract one's enemy. Releases aren't really needed for this beginner's ability, but that still doesn't make it any less iritating for one's ears.
- Giragira no Jutsu (Glare)
Description: A confident glare to throw off the user's enemy. Effective against Academy Students and beginning Genin. This is a great preempting move for a fair match.
- Kamakaze no Konpaku (Exploding Phantom)
Description: The user fakes an image of the enemy trapped in a room with a ghoul chasing him around, seemingly waving an exploding tag. (Lasts for one of the enemy's posts) The whole time the user may run away, or attack the enemy and trigger an early release of the illusion.
- Giragira no Jutsu (Glare - Rank 2)
Description: More effective than the first level, this jutsu will cause someone of Chuunin rank to succumb to it. If the enemy's eyes meet the user's, the enemy may be intimidated enough to either close their eyes in fear, or cry in Achilles' heel, which should allow the user to distract the enemy for enough time to pull off an attack or possibly flee.

- Kusuri no Chishiki (Medicine Knowledge)
Description: General knowledge of the human body and medicine. This knowledge allows the user to mix various antidotes and poisons, and the ability to treat wounds properly.
- Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Techinque)
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses chakra into the palms of their hands, creating a small ball of healing chakra. This chakra, when concentrated, can repair physical damage to another person.
- Satsugaite no Jutsu
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses chakra into the palms of their hands, creating a small ball of killing chakra, which is the complete opposite of the Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique). Through concentrating their chakra in a manner opposing the Chiyute.
- Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Description: This technique must be mastered by any ninja who has graduated from the Academy at the Hidden Leaf Village. It's the most basic technique a Genin must know, since it can be a real lifesaver. This ninjutsu creates an illusional clone of the user.
- Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Description: Henge no Jutsu is the basic skill a ninja must know to become a Genin. It is a very useful and widely used skill in the series, as it has many uses. It's mostly used as a decoy, to confuse the opponent by transforming into somebody that's an ally with the enemy.
- Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release)
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses their chakra and screams "kai" or "release." They can perform it on themselves or on others. It will effectively ward off most Genjutsu, unless extremely powerful or when used in conjunction with an advanced bloodline.
- Kinobori/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Tree/Wall Walking Technique)
Description: By focusing a proper amount of chakra into the feet, the user is able to walk on walls and trees.
- Konoha Shunshin no Jutsu
Description: An ability which allows the user to transport from one area to another in a veil of leaves. (Not to be Used in Battle)
- Suimen Hokou no Gyou (Water Walking)
Description: By focusing their chakra in a similar manner to the Kinobori technique, the user is able to balance over the surface of water, allowing them to walk and run freely.
- Kawarimi no Jutsu
Description: The Body Substitute skill is a widely used and very famous skill among shinobis. Put simply, the user uses speed to his/her advantage, and grabs an item from the environment and places it on his/her current position while moving out of the way.
