Technique: Byakugan
Clan: Hyuuga
Description: An advanced bloodline technique belonging to Konoha's Hyuuga Clan. The Byakugan allows its bearer to do a wide variety of things with their vision. It gives them perfect vision for one hundred meters straight, allowing them to see through obstacles as well. Or, instead of one hundred meters straight, the bearer can be granted three hundred and sixty degree vision for fifty meters in any direction, barring an almost unnoticeable blind spot behind their first thoracic vertebrae.

In addition to simple ocular tricks, the Byakugan also gifts their clan with the ability to see chakra in its rawest form, making most Ninjutsu and Genjutsu ineffective against it's bearer. In addition to simply being able to see chakra, they allow sight to the hidden inner coil system of chakra veins and tenketsu (chakra holes) through which a person's chakra flows. With this sight, members of the Hyuuga Clan are able to utilize Jyuken, the Gentle Fist Style. With this style of Taijutsu, they can attack their opponent's internal organs, and they are able to effectively cut off the flow of chakra through the human body by closing any or all of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu, incapacitating or even killing their opponent.

(Note: Byakugan Users may not use any ninjutsu outside of bunshin and henge)

Hyuuga Technique List
  • Jyuken (Gentle Fist)
    Type: Taijutsu
    Chakra: N/A
Description: This is the opposite of the Tekken (Iron Fist) Taijutsu style. The attacks are softer, more open palm, and cause damage by flowing chakra into the opponent's inner coil system of chakra veins and tenketsu (chakra holes). Attacking through the inner coil system allows them to cause damage to their opponent's internal organs, which nobody can train, as the chakra veins surround all the chakra producing organs, most notably the heart.

  • Harichakura (Needle Chakra)
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Chakra: N/A
Description: A Ninjutsu technique requiring a ninja to be able to use Jyuken. The ninja creates small needles from the tenketsu upon their fingers that are able to slice through things made of chakra, which normally could not be broken.

    Type: Taijutsu
    Chakra: 5,000
Description: A Taijutsu technique utilizing the Byakugan (White Eyes) and the Jyuken (Gentle Fist). With the ability to see the inner coil system, the ninja performs a series of graceful movements while attacking sixty-four of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu. If this attack lands succesfully, the victims tenketsu will be sealed for 3 turns, shutting off their chakra flow completely during that time period.

  • Hakke: Sou Dou Shyou
    Type: Taijutsu
    Chakra: 5,000
Description: A powerful jyuuken attack used by striking the enemy with both arms open, and forcing chakra straight through them. By sending the chakra through the initial point of attack, this technique can be used to break through enemy shields, as the actual strike comes from the chakra after the palms hit. An clean hit from this technique will usually send the enemy flying, as well as injure some internal organs. No wounds will appear on the body after being struck, but the opponent's clothes are usually ripped by the chakra entering and exiting the body.

  • Hakke Hyaku Nijuu Hasshou (Divinitive Palm: 128 Strikes of Divinity))
    Chakra: 10,000
Description: By moving his arms and spreading out the divine circle, the 64 divine strikes becomes 128 divine strikes. This is done at a higher speed and it a lot harder to dodge due to its quickness. To the user, the opponent is moving in slow motion. If this attack is succesful, the opponent's chakra will be sealed off for 5 turns, compeltely cutting off their chakra from for that time.

  • Zessho Hachimon Hougeki (Eight Celestial Gates Bombardment Attack)

The actual strikes aren't even visible to the eye at this point, only the flashes of chakra as they leave the user's hand to seal the tenketsu. Of course this takes an enormous amount of chakra to perform, as it is not only used to seal the tenketsu, but to keep the hand speed up as well. Even if the 361 strikes don't put the enemy down for good, their tenketsu will be sealed for the rest of the match, completely stopping their use of ninjutsu and genjutsu.

  • 5 Pointo Bakuhatsu no Chuushin no Gijutsu (5 Point Exploding Heart Technique)

However, after the user has taken three steps, the opponent's heart explodes. This move tends to be held back because of it's lack of sublty and the brutal nature or the attack.
