Title: What Anime Are You Currently Watching?

Rikid - August 8, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
List and post the anime show(s) that you're currently watching or the last anime(s) you watched.

Feel free to post here whenever you're watching a new anime or you've just finished one of the anime(s) you were watching before.

2.Naruto shippuuden
3.Samurai 7 (Just finished it a couple of minutes ago(

I don't really watch Anime anymore >.>. I was crazy about it until like Freshman year, but none of my friends liked it so I had nobody to talk about it with except a few that liked Naruto.

But last year I did have a brief relapse and watched Claymore and Sola. Kickass.

Rikid - August 9, 2008 05:36 AM (GMT)
Yeah Claymore was crazy, did you watch the whole thing?

Ds14 - August 9, 2008 06:45 PM (GMT)
Yes, and I'm depressed that one of my favorite characters died.

Kanki-chan - August 11, 2008 06:09 PM (GMT)
Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann is a new one for me. I've only been able to watch every episode or so at anime club, but it's hilarious.

Just like DS I haven't had the time for a new ANime Series, although I do try and stick around to watch whatever we vote on at the anime club. Thanks to that, I've seen:

1. Darker than Black
2. Black Cat
3. Combat Butler Hayate
4. Project A-ko
5. Higurashi no something (Translated it means "Death by Notebook" (no it's not Death Note) and club members jokingly call it "higurashi no ohnoesmyorgans!")
6. Genshiken

A few others, but those are some of the favorite ones I've seen.

I think you are refering to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni which translates to When the Cicadas Cry.

Its uber violent and about preteens that kill people. It's a really deep and well thought out anime, minus it's ridiculous sense of humour(removing fingernails, slitting your own throat with your fingernails, and many others).

I'm pretty sure Higurashi means cicadas so I don't think the Death by Notebook is accurate.

Other than that, I'm not much into anime anymore. I don't even watch Naruto anymore. I just want to read the manga till the end for closure's sake. I've taken a more interest in a music career actually and am currently looking for a serious band.

Ds14 - August 14, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
No, I'm pretty sure Higurashi means something else.

Kuroukami Yukio - August 14, 2008 03:24 AM (GMT)
Higurashi is a type of cicada, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean that Higurashi is the translation for the noun: cicada.

Ds14 - August 14, 2008 04:57 PM (GMT)
I think Nakureru is "to cry".

Kuroukami Yukio - August 14, 2008 05:57 PM (GMT)
yeah and naku koro is probably a conjugation or tense of nakukeruru. But, this if higurashi doesn;t reger to the cicada then kanki's anime isn't my idea.

Kanki-chan - August 15, 2008 01:14 PM (GMT)
 Yukio was right, because that's the plot of the anime I was referring to. I was probably mistaken on the "death by notebook" bit.

It's a bit old-school, but I've lately been watching the first season of Sailor Moon on Imeem. Holy crap is the main character annoying >_<
