the stoat just smiled and lay back. the boat started to sing and the staots head went under the water. he sliped between firions legs grabbed his flamberege and jumped to the bank. he held his sword up ready to strike if filrion should do the same....

Filrion, however, rowed his capsizing vessel onto a sandbar. Nocking an arrow, he fired at the vermin on the bank. He fired another shot, just in case the first one missed...

the vermin was hit by the first arrow.he dropped his flameberge and fell on the ground.his last words were:"My master shall hear of this." filrion...

Wondered if his master was the same as the one at Brockhall. Snapping the head off of one of his arrows, Filrion tied a message calling for help, and for pitch, onto it. He then fired it off in the direction Lilyspike had gone. He then sat down, and began bailing the water out of his beached boat...

a boat apeared around a bend in the river. a angry Lilyspike was manning the tiller. "thank you sir fer giving me another spike" said Lilyspike sarcasticly, pointing to the broken arrow that was caught in her spikes. she went into the boats cabin and brought out a container of pitch."Here yah go sir,patch up your boat. my brother will help yea." she turned her head and yelled into the cabin."Braggo come help this nice chap patch up his boat." a sleepy looking male hegehog emerged and sat down on the sandbank to help filrion....

"Thank you," said Filrion, pulling the arrow out of Lilyspike's spikes. Making a fire, he melted the pitch, until it was gooey. With Braggo's help, he caulked the inside of his boat, and then patched the hole up. As the pitch was drying, Lilyspike and her brother shoved off. "Bye! and thanks again!" shouted Filrion, waving good-bye.
A few hours later, Filrion, having finished his lunch, and the pitch having dried, he shoved off. As he paddled past the bank, he picked up the Flamberge that the vermin had dropped. Another hour of paddling brought him into the lake... ----- Acquired Flamberge ------ Next -------------------- |
