Hey. I'm an RPG fan, Final Fantasy (my favourites are VI, VII and VIII and I'd love to do some cosplay as Cloud or Squall...) and D&D in particular.
Even so, my pastime of choice is simply reading, which served me well to and from university on the train and continues to do so during my breaks at work. I still have a couple of boxes full yet to get through. I prefer fantasy novels (the usual swords and sorcery stuff), Science Fiction, horror, detective stories and the occasional thriller.
Mythology is a fascinating subject to me, mainly Greek, Norse, Egyptian and a little Celtic.
I don’t mean to be conceited, but I think of myself as a chivalrous person, the kind who thinks of others first. That's probably true for a lot of geeks, because it's built into our culture, especially the traditional RPGs and fantasy books.
OK, that's a lot of text. I'll just sum myself up here: A taciturn individual seeking his niche in life as well as some adventures along the way. |
