Although I doubt it's of any interest to anyone now, Monkey Magic ran for 13 episodes. It wasnt a bad series, and dealt with the very early part of Monkeys story growing up on the mountain of fruit and flowers and learning the ways of magic from an old master.
The series followed as far as battling the angels in heaven and ultimately meeting up with Tripitaka. They met an Eel monster (who could have supposed to have been Sandy, if the show had continued) but unfortunately it came to an abrupt end. The animation wasn't the best, but it had its appeal. -------------------- A monkey against King Havoc and it hasn't even got a stick? Come beast, and die!
