Mine has to be Catfish, Saint and Shape-Changer.
I chose that episode as the one for my Graphics Coursework, which is/was a Monkey Fan-Pack including a board game, character cards and a storybook. Finished the final product this morning! |

I find it so difficult to pick a single favourite episode, but if I could pick 3, at the moment, they would be:
Episode 26 - The End of the Way: The one where the pilgrims think they've reached India, but it's an illusion, and Tripitaka is trapped in the iron collar of death. Episode 25 - The Country Of Nightmares: The pilgrims reach a land where they each have to do a magic test (Monkey writes "Monkey Magic" in the sky in smoke with his cloud) and also Tripitaka disguises himself as a female demon (think about this one - a female playing a man playing a female!) Episode 38 - Mothers: A very dark episode with the evil Wasp Witch kidnapping children. Very interested to her what everyone else's favourite episodes are too -------------------- "Son Aware of Vacuity, listen to me. Come to the Himalayas, Monkey."

I hope this message board gets used more that the one on monkeyheaven.com
I quite like the "Power of Youth"; episode 5. The line that cracks me up is when the King runs over the brow of a hill with his men, stops, and says "A monkey, and a pig, and what the other one is i've no idea! Ha Haaa!" The dubbing is this episode is great! keep posting |

Just realised I didn't actually explain why I liked Catfish, Saint and Shape-Changer.
Well, firstly I just love the scene where Monkey, Sandy and the Fairy of the Blue Pool have a party in the Catfish demon's belly after he got them drunk, that's scene is just so hilarious. |

I particularly like the episode 'Who am I?", mainly for the ending, especially the music.

I liked 'What is Wisdom?', because it makes you think.

My personal fav (so far, I have not seen them all) is 'The Difference Between Night & Day'
I just love it how Monkey has fallen in love for the first time, with a mortal girl! He loses his magic, and he does not know what to do! My favourite quote from that episode is, "Now, I lady bee meets a nice gentleman bird. Now, what does he do?" Sandy 'He eats it!" Monkey |

Reminds me of 'Monkey's Yearning'.
It was such a sad ending, but I loved that episode... -------------------- "Victory depends on whether or not a duellist has the courage to fight until the bitter end."

I've seen that one! So sad! But, I can't believe after he called Monkey back and he fails to do so, he then starts shouting "I hate you!".

I just said "No, no!" over and over.
He could have been happy. Even thinking about it makes my heart tremble a little. -------------------- "Victory depends on whether or not a duellist has the courage to fight until the bitter end."
