	I don't believe that Toshiyuki Nishida loves fishing or that he appears on the covers of fishing magazines... he does however play a character in a series of films called "A Diary of Crazy Fishing" where he plays a guy who's obsessed with fishing. 	The original pigsy is not dead. He enjoys fishing and is quite a little celeb in japan, often appearing on the covers of fishing magazines. peace

	The original is definatly more 'piggish', if you see what I mean (looks as well as character). I think my bias is shifting the more of the original I see.
