well ang and i are offering them seaweed daily and a mixture of dolomite with some other stuff. We had issues with strangles last year and vaccinated, but when it came down the coast again this year the foals were too young to be vacc and some came up with lumps, so have been giving them this mixture, and it helps get rid of the problem, I will ask ang what is in it all and post it here later. We have decided to continue this all year round and see if it prevents it setting in next year, not sure where it came from as with the EI crap we havent gone anywhere to end up cross contaminated, so thinking the flies are brining it down the coast from up past phillip island from the wonthaggi area but not 100%

Mine are on a very very basic diet of lucerne hay, oaten hay, mineral lick salt, garlic once a week, carrots and licorice (only when they're good tongue.gif ). Once my new property settles the hay will stop as they'll have 100 acres of feed to mow!
