That your husband loves you? I'm pretty sure that he was in love with me when we were dating, but we didn't plan to get married until after I got pregnant with my daughter. I always wonder if we would be together now if I hadn't gotten pregnant. Now that I'm pregnant again I guess I'm feeling even more insecure. It just doesn't seem like there is a spark anymore. It is not like he is a bad husband. He is a great husband. I still feel attracted to him but I'm not sure if he does for me too. We have never been a touchie feelie kind of couple. I can't remember the last time we said I love you. I want to tell him that I love him but I find it hard to actually say it. How do you know that your husband loves you?

Hmmm... That is a toughy and probably something that you will never know for sure.
I certainly am not an expert, but I would suggest that you tell him that you love him more often, if you truely feel that way. He may not say it back, but he will at least know that you love him and return the feelings with actions if not words. Another thing that I suggest is maybe trying to take a date night more often. It sounds like you guys went straight from marriage to a baby and didn't have much time alone together. Perhaps spending some romantic time together will make you feel more confident. No matter what, know that you are the mother of his children and from what I have been told by my husband and male friends, that creates an amazing love connection. |
