Faith sighed as she pushed the door to the bar open, only to get tackled by three young kids. Shaking her head she sighed and pulled the kids off her,
"It's good to see you too, are your rents around?" The kids looked dissapointed when faith said this, the two younger ones lips began to quiver as they walked back inside, the oldest shrugged,
"Not in the mood to play today Faith?" Faith sighed and shook her head,
"Maybe later, right now i need some R and R, and to talk to your rents" The older boy nodded and walked inside,
"Dad Faith's home" Faith smiled as she walked in making sure Nikolai followed her closely.

An older man embrased faith as she walked over to the bar, smiling broardly until he noticed one of the unhealed cuts on her face and that her movements where slightly sluggish, he sighed not noticing Nikolai as he spoke,
"what in heavens name happened?" Faith gave a wiery smile
"Dad" she answered simply, the old man nodded before Faith continued, "Anyway Mark, that's not up for disscussion, Do we have a spare room upstairs, I've got someone who needs a place to stay for a while" Mark nodded, "yeah theres a room up there near yours, it'll need a bit of cleaning though" Faith shrugged and moved to the side making Nikolai clear,
"Mark, this is Nikolai, Nikolai Mark" with that she let the two men size each other up.

Nikolai followed Faith into the small bar and closed the door behind him. He saw her tackled by the kids and followed her as she approached a man whom she hugged. He was holding his ribs on the left side and he looks like shit. His black jacket was torn and mangled, he was wearing no shit undernieth. He had the jacket zipped up to his chin to cover the rudely bandaged wounds that were all over his upper body. His jeans were stained dark with dried blood and his eyes blackened.

Mark, this is Nikolai, Nikolai Mark

Nikolai eyed Mark up and down then stuck out his hand, after a short shake he said, "Thank you for your hospitality Mark, my apartment is currently...under construction."

Mark took Nikolai's hand and shook it, after looking him up and down he smiled,
"Any friend of Faith's is a friend of ours, the rooms upstairs Faith'll take you there, my wife will call when dinners ready" Faith nodded and motioned for Nikolai to follow. As she walked upstairs she turned to Nikolai,
"They're nice people, and hunters the lot of them" She paused and looked Nikolai up and down "If you wanna go sit in your room, i'll get the first aid kit and fix you up, I kinda feel responsible for this"

Nikolai nodded. Bracing himself with one hand on the door frame Nikolai removed the other from his aching ribs and opened the door. Shuffling in he closed the bar behind him. It was a small room, decorated simply, it reminded him of a country cottage. Walking towards the bed Nikolai unzipped his jacket and with a groan and a wince he let it fall to the floor.

Looking in the full length mirror in the corner Nikolai saw all the bandages had gone completely red with blood, his face was a ghostly shade of white. Nikolai layed down slowly and painfully on the bed, smearing the blankets with blood. He kicked off his boots and pants, exposing his cut up legs. Closing his eyes Nikolai rested, finally.

Faith walked into her room glancing around at her blood red walls, which had names scrawled all over them. shaking her head she reached under her bed and pulled out a large metal box shaking her head.

As she walked out of her room she shut the door quietly pushing the door to Nikolai's room open easily. She shut her eyes the moment she saw him, cringing slightly. placing hte box on the floor next to him she pulled it open,
"Sorry Nikolai, i don't have any painkillers so just tell me if it gets to painfull" She sighed as she pulled out some cloths and medical grade alchole.
"This is going to sting a bit, but i have to get you cleaned up" Not hesiating she pulled the top off the bottle and poored some onto the cloth she was holding and started to clean Nikolai from his face down.

Nikolai smiled, "That's ok, I'll not afraid of a little p-FUCK!" Nikolai tensed and exhaled slowly, teeth barred. His head span slightly and he fought to stay conscious.

"Faith, pass me a cigarette for Christ sakes, have you got one?" Nikolai spat out as Faith cleaned a particularly deep wound on his shoulder.

Faith did her best to stifle a laugh, as she reached into her back pocket pulling out a pack of cigarettes taking one out she lit it and put it to Nikolai's lips. Before shaking her head and returning to work. As she moved further down his body the cuts seemed to get worse, in a desperate attempt to take his mind off the pain she spoke,
"So, what you planning on doing once you can walk again?"

Nikolai grunted slightly and inhaled his cigarette. Relaxing slightly he forced out, "Kill some fucking vampyres." Then was silent, smoke curling up from his nose and mouth.

Faith nodded and stay'd quiet, as she finnished cleaning the cuts. most of them would be fine, there was three or four deep cuts that she knew she needed to stitch. yet again rummaging through the box she found what she needed and sat on the bed next to Nikolai examining the cut on his shoulder.
"Okay, This is going to hurt more so please please don't kill me" With that she threaded the needle and got to work.

Nikolai nodded as Faith began to thread a needle. Most his body was numb form the alcohol anyhow and he was more relaxed now on his back, after days of being on his feet. He felt the sharp pain of the first stitch, but each one felt less and less intrusive. Taking the last drag of his cigarette Nikolai turned it around and put it out on his tongue, then placed the butt on the bedside table.

As Faith finished the last sitch she looked him over double checkin that the stiching would hold, before she moved back up to his ribs feeling along them gently checking if there we're any breaks. Smiling she looked up at him,
"So far so good, no breaks just really really bad bruising"

Leaning his head up off the pillow Nikolai looked down the bed and inspected Faith's handiwork. But as he saw each one he remembered receiving him. Like a bad dream, he remembered be surrounded by barred teeth and sickly shaped metal instruments. His flesh cut, torn and feasted upon. All the while the cackling and the deep throaty laughter of Dominic. Shaking these visions out of his mind Nikolai laid his head back down on the pillow and turned his head towards Faith, "Thank you Faith, I have the feeling without you I would be dead."

Faith shrugged, not looking up an Nikolai as sh econtinued to feel along his ribs, "Yeah but without me you wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place" She sighed and moved onto the other side of his chest shaking her head slowly,
"I shouldnt' be too much longer then i'll leave you to sleep, oh, what size are you, i'll go find you some clothes"

"Uh, 32-32 and medium shirt," Nikolai replied then added, "and a case of Marlboro Reds." Faith pressed a particularly tender area and Nikolai winced, almost his whole torso was black and blue.

Faith nodded, "Consider it done" She sighed as she stood up and packed up her stuff.
"You rest, i'll either be next door or downstairs if you need anything, but your not getting any form of alcholic drink in you til your at least a little bit less, umm coloured" She stood up and walked out of the room, mently cursing herself for causing this to happen to him. She shut the door and walked into her room quickly changing before rushind downstairs,
"I'm going out, if he wakes up, just leave him be, he's in a lot of pain, oh and keep the kids away k?" Mark barely looked up as Faith rushed past and out the front door.
