Cure Bright: Moon or Sun?

Okay, I completely know that Cure Bright's based off of the moon, but this doesn't seem to work. First of all, Bloom and Bright are the same person, and only several species of flower bloom at night. Her outfit is yellow, too, which is a colour better associated with sunlight. The sun's also significantly brighter than the moon. So...is there somthing I'm not getting here? PCconfused

Even Michiru's simplified version of it in episodes 48 and 49 was yellow. Interesting indeed.

Right, but what does yellow have to do with the moon theme? That was the original question. You generally think of nighttime colors when you think of the moon (white, black, blue?)

you're right, why it should have to be green? If you want to relate ie to Bloom's color(which is fuschia, yellow), then why they didn't make it dark purple-yellow?

Actually, after staring at the moon for a while last night, I've drawn the conclusion that the moon does in fact appear to be a greenish shade of yellow while surrounded in mist.

But another question is, why does Bright's moon symbol has a tiny heart on it?(Know what I mean? The one in her belts, that's it..)

Hmm......well, every Precure series with the exception of YPC has some kind of heart on the uniform, so I guess it's a mandatory thing? And yeah, I love the moon. :3

but heart is the symbol of love..and... uh well, love is the most important thing in every mahou shoujo series

That's why FPC brought the HEARTS back, they used clover as the theme, but used the HEART leaves on their accesories...

People usually think of the moon as being either crescent or full, and since a circle a full moon would look too plain, they added the heart to it to make it look crescent-ish. I hope so.
