Reed Reed is the formal name for the Imperial City, but its use in common speech has drastically increased since the fragmentation of Meliora, with new 'Imperial Cities' all across the Melior Peninsula. King Godwin, Queen Charlotte, and their three children live here, under heavy guard.
Reed sustained only slight damage from raider parties during the Invasion War, but being only three miles from the border at its closest point, and with the Imperial Bridge in such close proximity, the city is now heavily fortified by an entire Legion of the military.

West Harkan Formerly containing the major cities of Talafen, Liresul, and Y'Landara, all of Harkan east of the Ganak was conquered by the Folsted Imperium, and the better part of the Grey Mountains nabbed by the Border Princes. Known for its dry heat, except in the depths of winter and on the peaks of the Grey Mountains, it is nonetheless a useful part of Meliora for its spices, lumber, and coal mining industries.

Urath Most of Urath remains under Melioran control, with only the northern forests, a large part of the coastal swamps, and a few elven villages coming under the control of Anstruth in the wake of the Secession War.
It retains its status as the breadbasket and heartland of Meliora, with Charden, Uuranor, and Absidion within its limits.

West Adan While most of Adan seceded from Meliora in the height of the Invasion War, Western Adan remained a part of Meliora, thanks to the heroic efforts of its then-count, Indrick Mareth, who died in the Invasion War.
O'Shea and Valaista Vesi remain a part of Meliora due to his efforts, and many is the statue devoted to him in these cities.
Part of the Docklands expanded across the River Ganak in the boom years, and so Meliora is thankfully not without naval facilities, though these are under heavy guard at all times, and no longer the dens of iniquity they once were.

The Highway The long and desolate road is the main link to all the major cities and places of Meliora, but it is a dangerous route. Should a person choose to venture such a way alone, they ought to keep their eyes wide open.
