I decided something. The original first chapter available for download off of my website is just that... original. In case you didn't know, the book is undergoing a rewrite, mainly because I'm disgusted with it, Chapter 1 being one of my main trifles.

So while I'm not removing the link right now, I ask that you do not take this as an example of my writing skills, and hope you get a chance to read the real first chapter upon its completion!
