Personality: Stynier has a distrust for any one not on his ship or in his team. This distrust often is directed towards newer members of his team as well due to them not having done anything to earn his trust. Other than that he can be a rather easy going person as long as he is surrounded by his crew or in the middle of battle.
Abilities: As the leader of a Special Operations Infiltration Unit, Stynier is well adept at the Art of stealth and Sneaking. He is an expert with Handguns, Assault Rifles and Close Quarters Combat. He is skilled with Sniper Rifles, Shot Gun and Explosives but has yet to perfect the skills.

Biography: Kayvaan Stynier was born on Earth to parents he never knew, he was adopted by the Styniers, a young married couple both serving in the Alliance Military. When he was old enough he left his adopted parents and joined the military, he never really felt like he fit in with them especially after the birth of their own son, it just furthered the gap. Once in the military he again felt that he didn't belong and many of his commanders labeled him as a rouge. After just a few months in the military he was at risk of being kicked out. Luckily for him he was found by the Alliance Military's Special Operations Recruiters who thought that his 'Lone Wolf' attitude would be perfect for the new type of Operative they were looking for. Before long he was being trained as a Solo Espionage Agent.
After two years of training the Military saw fit to put his skills to the test against a Pirate Camp in Terminus Systems. The objective was to take out the Pirate Base which had acquired Chemical Weapons from a Rouge Alliance Captain and the rumor was that he was going to be on the planet, so the secondary objective was to eliminate the rouge commander. The Infiltration went perfectly, as did the elimination of the weapons. The Identification of the Commander was a different story, it turned out that he was the son of a high up Alliance political figure and the orders from Command changed, Stynier was no longer authorized to eliminate the target, according to main stream command, the Phantom Unit Commander how ever ordered Stynier to take out the target. Stynier eliminated the target with extreme prejudice and completed his first mission. Shortly there after, the Father of the Commander was executed by another member of the Unit for treason, evidence had been found linking him to the arms deals. Over the years the Phantoms Units methods changed from One man operations to include the use of small units of Five Operatives. Now Stynier has risen to the Rank of Commander and Commands the Phantom Unit, as well as its Frigate the
SSV ArdennesEquipment: As a member of the Phantom Unit he has access to the Phantom Units custom equipment all of their Weapons, save the Shotgun, are equipt with suppression equipment as well as dampening equipment to prevent overheating. The Armour is an Experimental Light weight suit that offers the protection of a heavy armour with the maneuverability of the Light armour. It is also equipt with a scanner that takes a photo of the surrounding area and changes the suits Camo Patern.
