Appearance: A single large ovular dome caps off a octagonal substructure (the dome conceals the top 1/5 of the substructure) that contains all the ships vital systems as well as the docking systems for the Crick class frigates and crew quarters (with extra bunking for the crews of the Cricks). This leaves the entirety of the dome free for medical facilities with the exception of the bridge which is located in a trapezoidal cutout in the front. The medical facilities are top of the line and can handle up to 500 patients at once (this number can be increased to 700 with minimal effort if it becomes necessary).

Description: Designed in conjunction with the Crick class, the Cosmas class is the most advanced medical ship humanity as ever deployed. They are used as forward operation bases for MET forces and their distinct frame stands out among any fleet. A pair of these ships (and their Crick class partners) are capable of servicing an entire fleet in battle. To make up for their lack of speed and maneuvering they have a disproportional number of defensive turrets and the most advanced kinetic shield system ever dreamed up. The design was formulated with the help of asari engineers, although they were not working on behalf of the species as a whole.
