So most of you who have joined read the current storyline...if not, go do that, now.
Anyways, its kind of assumed things are going relatively smoothly for the galaxy, even with fear jolted out because of the Reapers existence and all that...but now just three days before a grand celebration was to take place, a whole colony just dropped off the map; no communication, no readouts, no nothing. And now, no one can even make it to the system because the Mass Relay leading there, is disabled...and no one knows why.
And thats where it stops.
I had planned on after a few member topics to kind of get everyone going...through uhh, stories not solidified yet, everyone finds out the colony has been annihilated, the surface destroyed, and no signs of life on it.
Then the council would start investigating if it was a Reaper attack, and if so, where did it go and all that jazz.
What does everyone else think?

Ok guys, so looks like things are lugging along quite nicely.
I will make a new topic in the Council Chambers, and in this topic, it will be revealed that Adjuucar has been completely annihilated. I won't spoil the details right now, but the council is going to be sending people to Adjuucar, to figure out what exactly happened...sorry to be so vague, just don't want to ruin the plot here.
However, to be in the topic, you need to come up with a logical, damn good explanation for your presence. Obviously military folk will be there, but for merc's out there, get creative. This is a closed session type of meeting, as in, unlike the game, there will be no one in the council chambers minus the council and the group of...dignitaries.
Good?

This sounds like a great idea. I would love to see this play out. You should use the calender thing to tell us approximately when it will start so we could get ready.

Well I really enjoyed the whole topic. It seemed to me everyone played some part and added to the bigger picture. I like how everyone was in groups and interacted just enough to make it believable. There was a large amount of people at the meeting and the parts everyone played was realistic, no one character was the center of attention.
Wow, 20 days for 3 pages? That's a long time. Though all of the posts were pretty long and detailed, no one-liners. Because of that, it seemed to flow well. For a lengthy topic involving all characters, that is not too bad. But this next one at ISIS shouldn't take nearly as long.
I definitely liked the storyline of it and how everyone played some kind of part in shaping it. There were many openings for our characters to reveal their personalities, etc. But in regard to twists and surprises, there really were none to us, the RPers. We already knew the colony was completely wiped and that the Council would respond with force. There was not really any opening for a crazy twist.
Now for the attack, you said several times that things are going to take a turn for the worst. Personally, I wouldn't mind if you kept us in the dark as to what actually is going to go wrong and surprise us when you post about it happening in the topic. Obviously I don't mean to not tell us what is going to happen next, just don't tell what the "big revelation" will be.
