Uppington House
Uppington House is the Selwick family’s London estate; the house has been the family’s primary residence for the past hundred years. It is a large house with several wings. In these wings there are enough rooms for the large staff of servants the house needs to be kept as well as the family. Charles, Richard and Henrietta each have their own wing, far from their parents’ wing. Henrietta is the only one who lives in Uppington house primarily, her brother Charles and his wife, Marianne, rarely venture to London and Richard has his own bachelor rooms in both London and France. There is also a nursery floor, but it is only in use when Charles comes to London with his whole family. The house is elegantly furnished, both inside and out. Outside of the manor, the gardens are well tended and the drive is always smooth.

Westgate
While Cecelia would adamantly state that her true home is in Ireland, Westgate is the home of Cecelia and her father while they are in London. It is excessively large like some of the houses a few blocks away, but the architecture of the building is stunning. Build after the Roman models, large pillars frame the front of the edifice, supporting a portico that covers the front of the building. Made of a rosy granite, it seems to stand out amongst the whites and reds with its pinkish-brown hue. The inside’s décor reminds many of stepping into a gallery. Statues and paintings are scattered throughout the building, many of which her father had procured when ships came in from far off ports. The rooms are standard, with a decent sized parlor, a ballroom, a library, and a garden that is to die for. That is the real jewel of Westgate. With a greenhouse at the back of the gardens, there is greenery at the Woodworth’s residence all year round.

Hohendorf Place
Following the tradition of German architecture, Hohendorf Place is unique from the surrounding buildings. A combination of old and new, on the exterior it presents a old world feel with dark red bricks that appear to be brown coming towards the main entrance where they give way to a striped red and white marble archway in which the main doors to the Place sit. Above the giant oak doors sits the von Zweibrücken family coat of arms, gilded in gold with bronze etchings. The surrounding grounds are impeccably kept, a team of groundskeepers and gardeners working on them even when the Catherine and her family are not around. Inside the house, everything has the same stark contrasts as the exterior. Dark cherry floors give way to pale yellow walls on which hang tapestries from Saxony dating back to the thirteenth century. Numerous paintings adorn the walls, each of them painted by one of the realist masters: Van Neck, Rembrandt, Menzel, and countless others. On the ground floor, one can find the grand ballroom, dining hall, guest parlor, and entrance hall. The second floor contains the great gothic library with huge cathedral ceilings and wall to wall ceiling to floor shelves of books. On this floor is also the conservatory and personal study of Catherine von Zweibrücken. The third floor contains the manor's suites: Catherine's suite occupying the east wing while the guest suites occupy the north and west wings.

Delaney House
Built by the Marquis of Westmount in 1685 prior to the family’s rise from a marquisette to an earldom, Delaney House is in one of the oldest, albeit not one of the most fashionable, neighborhoods of London. However, because of it’s placing in Marlborough Square, Delaney House as well as the other’s in the Square receive great respect because whomever resides there obviously is from an old family and old money, something that is even greater than any title and more often than not, the residents of these abodes receive greater respect than those of higher rank merely because of their family name.

The house is a bit out of style, but that too adds to its prestige and although it is old, it is still a charming yet grand house. It has a large ballroom although the Countess has not used it since returning to London, nor does she expect to unless dire circumstances occur. She often entertains in one of the many parlors of the house or the dining hall, but the upper rooms of the house are never entered by anyone other than Elfled, her mother when she visits, and the servants. However, if someone were to enter the intimate part of the house, they would find Elf living in the Earl’s masculine and cold rooms and leaves the Countess's feminine and warm ones for her mother. There are also several other bedrooms and a nursery on a third floor, But those have not been in use since Elf's childhood.
