War was coming. War was about to start. Many people were about to die. The Elven Army had decided with the Humans that they should stay in the capitol for the walls are hard and no magic could brake without lots of siege weapons. All the elven warriors behind the wall were armed with bow and arrow but also a sword. They all knew magic but the elven mages were behind the wall in the roads mounted with staffs raised. But eyes gazed up a figure on the wall mounted on a beautiful white stallion who was snorting disturbingly.

The figure mounted on the beautiful white stallion was Empress Guatanya on the lord of the elven horses – Koda. Her dark ebony hair waved behind her falling just past her waist slightly, her purest blue eyes gazed out forming tears but she refused to let any deposit from her eye, her dark red lips slightly smudged with a rush down red were held in a ‘anxious’ expression and her pale skin looked like fading snow but she had light pink in her cheeks.

Empress Guatanya wore the Sumres Dress but in a different style for the clothes could change but the Dress is when you summon the aeons. But it will transform into the Dress when she needs to. Currently it was a long silver velvet topic embroided with white elven patterns that fell to her thighs and her leggings of the same colour but no pattern fell over her slightly heeled shoes. The sleeves were unusual but they stopped at the elbow and the ends pulled up but flowing underneath which was sewn underneath as an under layer was white silk sleeves that flowed down to her wrist but flared down to her knees.

Now they waited….. For the enemy of darkness to come into the light and show that they were ready to fight. Amongst the army was Guatanya’s lover – a secret yes but he wasn’t just a soldier he was the great commander of the whole enemy armies, Lord Richter Krueger Emperor of the Deathians or Death so they are most commonly known as for he was once Captain Legolaith of the forest rangers of the borders of Liran. He was once an elf like the ones he is about to fight against.

"Come on Vadania we must hasten these skeleton riders do not tire easy" shouted Elwyn. He was being chased by 2 skeleton riders, Elwyn was mounted upon an oversized wolf it was not as big as a horse but was just as fast. As the wolf gallopped upon the hill Gonlac came into view."What?!" exclaimed Elwyn he saw elves and men manning the battlesattions. "Come Vadania War has come to Gonlac we mut aid them as best as we can" he wolf picked up speed as it sped down the hill towards Gonlac "some help would be nice elwyn muttered as he saw the skeletons gaining ground.

Guatanya recognised Elwyn for he was a friend of her's and an elf. He needed help since two skeleton elite riders were hard to kill - at that moment, she kicked Koda and he reared up released a piercing scream. He then galloped towards the wall and leaped over the wall and landed on his legs. He galloped towards the wolf, Guatanya drew her sword and cut over the heards of the skeletons in one shot - the horses stumbled. Guatanya turned back and Koda easily caught up with Elwyn. "Glad you can join us Elwyn - Come." At once the gates opened and Guatanya's white stallion Koda galloped back up on the wall positioning himself as he was before and the gate closed firmly shut.

"Thank you my empres i needed a little bit of help there, I Have a friend who was dying to meet you in the flesh, come on Vandania theres no need to hide now." Elwyn directed these words at the wolf, with hearing this the wolf nodded at Elwyn the wolf slowly transformed into a human like figure of a women she was another elf."Empress Guatanya i present to you Vandania, Druif of the Forests and nature and loyal servant of the Empress." Vandania walked up to Guatanya and bowed "It is a pleasure to meet you Empress" she then walked back to Elwyns side they were holding hands behind Guatanya so she could not see.

Guatanya bowed her head to the she-elf, "You are half woman and half martoqian wolf? Rare. Very unusual." A smile came over her face, soon Guatanya was back up in position awaiting the evil to arrive or even Yunalesca to join her side. The people of Gonlac had fled to Liran - for the elves have a higher chance of keeping the humans safe than the humans being at the spot where the battle is taking place.

Thudthudthud. Thud thud thud. The drum beat filled the skies as the footsoldiers marched onward. The cavalry followed soon after, a sea of black horses, all covered in traditional warspikes. Then a shreik came, and the dragons beat their wings, soaring through the skies and screaming. At the front, rode the empress, black hair pinned up behind her head. Below her and her dragons, a transformation was taking place with her soldiers. Her soldiers were turning into their demon forms, snarling. The dragoins landed behind the cavalry, making a huges wave of wings, The whole army screeched together, the drumbeat going strong. They would wait for the alliances to arrive - then the battle would commence.

Rhian stood on the wall, overlooking the threat which had come into view. It was large already and very dark. This was only the demons army; dwarves and death were still to come. How were they supposed to face this onsloaught? Hope seemed to dwindle a little inside but the will to fight for good would never fade. Rhian was ready for what was about to begin.

She could see Guatanya far to her right. Her elven army were near as well. Many soliers were stationed on or around the wall. Some were in the city taking care of some last minute things. Nerves were rising in most people but everyone tried to keep a calm expression. With the arrival and intimidation of the demons, Rhian just tightened her hands into fists as she summoned all her courage for the upcoming battle.

This would not be easy but at least they had the defensive side of the cities walls. They could take a lot and reflect it back. But the question that never ceased to bother Rhian was how long the walls could withstand the enemies force.

Vandania took in what Guatanya had said and showed a quite offended look on her face "I am no meer wolf even if I not be the Empress still power I hold, I am druid do not underestimate me" With that she walked of in a strop "are you coming then darling "Yes im coming wait up" replied elwyn then they kissed each other. Elwyn reached inside his mind and uttered some words to Vandania. He then readied his bow and knocked an arrow. The war had begun.

An unneasy silence seemed to seep into the soon to be battlefield. It looked as though all armies were statues for the nerves rising would turn even the most faithful man to a flesh rock. However the silence was soon broken...

Slowly but surely, hooves slowly entered hearing range. Thud Thudthud Thud However these sounds were longer and further apart than those of horses. Or so one would think. Then beside the Demon army ready for blood appeared the first regiments of the Deathian Elite Guard. They were clad in heavy armour which looked even more than Dwarves would wear. They were. For these elite guards were not normal Deathians but if you looked hard you would see battle scars gleaming in the light. For these were the gladiators of Death, built for stamina and strength, the key elements in battle. The regiments soon pulled to a stop to the side of the Demons. However Richter had not yet made an appearance.

The hooves got louder and more profound and only the Lord of Elven horses would recognise this name, Grux. He was the lord of shadow horses and would only come to a battle if the forces of light and dark were fighting. He would always choose the dark for abvious reasons. Then he came into view. Richter was on the back of a huge horse, the same height of Koda and maybe a slight bit bigger in the hind leg muscles. The horse was clad in armour that had seen a mellenia of battles. SPikes everywhere and almost every part of the horse was covered in armour and black fur. The eyes gleamed red and soon faded an eerie orange.
Richter was clad in what looked like heavy dwarven armour but it was of Deathian make. His Armour pitch black save for the markings and emblems.

On his right shoulder plate was three horns; the one closest to his head was the largest then the next one half of that and the other the same length as the second. On the front of his right shoulder plate there was another horn coming out straight and at the bottom there was another horn curving to the left. On his left shoulder plate was the same but the right is gold trimmed. On both plates on the sides was the demon Khaine’s face.

His helmet that he wore had two horns coming out of the sides of it, at his ears yet twice as large. The horns went up around a foot and curved inwards to connect to a small skull laced with jewels, red rubies mostly. The helmet covered his whole head and between the two horns on the top of the helmet was a small horn and coming down in a stripe to in between his eye openings with silver trimming.

His Gauntlets are spiked and on the back of his hand and his fingers the Armour is plated. His left gauntlet is grasping the hilt of his sword that had evil magical powers flowing through it; all along the sword little electric strands are being released. His right gauntlet holds a combat axe with an oversized one sided head. The cutting edge was serrated and also had the face of a greater Daemon on it. The handle was like a solid mace and had an evil star axis on it.

His greaves have skull knee plates with a ruby embedded in them. He also wears a torn and tattered cape that now hangs around his waits down to his feet. On his belt he had two short swords that the tips of them crossing each other. The belt buckle had another Great Daemon’s face upon it with three horns on the bottom of it with two ahead of the one. The greater demons gave him strngth when he needed it and bloodlust when he didn't. Behind him the dark cavalry came and the hooves beat the air like thunder and they seemed to shriek in unison.
They pulled up on the other side of the demons.
They had gaps between them and almost like lightning the Deathian foot soldiers came and filled them. However they transformed into their wraith form and they were thirsty for blood.

Richter sat astride he wondrous and powerful beast of a horse and simply laughed at the petty resistance infront of him. Then a banner caught his eye, The Elves had stayed. "Guatanya, you are a fool, why do you stay in a doomed city with half the defenses of your own?" He asks her telepathically. They had a link, psychically.
The very essence of Death seemed to seep into the battlefield.

The dwarves were still coming but what could one expect from such small legged warriors? ninja.gif

Darkness had covered all of Gonlac. The whole land was in shadow - the army was greater than the good's. Everyone was sucked into fear and the corouge within their hearts was drained by the might of the enemy. Their breaths would not last long - some did not believe they would last the light but as their eyes got used to the darkness a bright light appeared on the wall. Guatanya.

Guatanya sighed, though her heart was beating fast and her own hope was being drained but at once she stood up straight and gazed back at the enemy - her eyes fearless even though the enemy was ten times bigger than their own. Guatanya saw Rhian, she bowed her head to the Lady of the Human Court but as Guatanya recieved the message from Richter Kruegar his voice gave her that hope to keep on - even if they had to fight each other this battle never would she forsake her love for him for the promise they said at the battlefield when he was still Captain Legolaith - still continued to be true and always will be.

But before she could reply to the message she heard a scream, no ordinary scream because she knew that scream since a little girl. "Koda!" At once Guatanya jumped down from the walls and landed safely on the floor. Meanwhile, Koda was rearing up and released a challange towards Grux, they weren't exactly the 'best' friend infact they were deadly enemies. Guatanya ran towards her white stallion and before Koda could gallop towards Grux Guatanya appeared. She jumped infront of her stallion, she glared at her horse and at once jumped up and landed on his back, mounted on him. Koda tossed his head but Guatanya lifted her sword. She closed her eyes.

For that promise I hold to you my love....

As she reopened her eyes, a tear fell down her cheek but already the plans were changed. To protect the people they had to not let the enemy to enter the city meaning its time to go head on, into Richter's menace. At once the armies poured out the gates and positioned themself behind the Elven Empress. Guatanya's voice echoed around the battlefield, far and wide.

"Now it begns."

Filanna rolled out of bed. And hit the floor with an audible thump.
"Mmmph. Sumtae! Stop playing with daddy's drum!"
She got up, and as the sleep cleared from her eyes, she remembered when she was. She wasn't five, and her adopted brother Sumtae was long gone. But, someone clearly was beating a drum. Or maybe they were hoofbeats. Either way, there was a battle, and no one had woken her up for it. She strapped her morning-star to her back, and as she passed the door, she remembered why no one went near her room. On a spare bit of parchment, which she hung on the door, she wrote (in several languages): ' Do not disturb!'
Filanna ripped the sign off the door, and headed outside, to the wall. It was time for the fun to begin.

Rhian gazed to the dark threat which loomed in the distance. This would not be an easy battle. Nothing would be spared from the onslaught which was doomed to come. The future became almost umbearable to think about. The important thing was here and now.

Rhian looked around at the soliers, both humans and elves, whose fate seemed to be locked away; like nothing could change what Rhian was afraid was about to happen. As she looked around, some of the faces she saw were lost of any once existant hope. Others were filled with determination that could never be brocken. Everyone was silent and still, scanning the armies which laid ahead.

Suddenely Rhian saw a girl running her way that looked around her age. She didn't look like she was suited for war though. In fact, Rhian wondered what she was doing at the wall at all. Battle was about to be raged! She jumped down from the wall and walked toward the girl.

"Excuse me," she called to get the girls attention. "What are you doing here? Don't you know we're at war? This is not a safe place. Go find shelter." She felt uncofortable below the wall; not knowing the enemies moves. She was tempted to just jump back up and let the girl to her fate. War created uneasy times.

Filanna smiled.
" I am well aware that war is at hand. And nowhere is ever safe, when darkness gathers. If there is to be battle, then it is better if as many people as possible help. Besides, I'm no stranger to warfare."
Filanna walked past them, and sat on the wall itself, gazing down at the battlefield. It was at times like these that she thought of Sumtae, always ready to fight. Except for the day his world ended, Filanna thought lazily. As she gazed at the battlefield, a figure caught her eye.
" No. It cant be."

Nikita Hyde was on the outskirts of the battlefield. The battle, she knew, was where she belonged, wielding her weapons. She would, should, be fighting for the pride of her Deathian race supposedly. Or maybe she would be hired by the army, she was a mercenary after all. Why had she come if she was not going to fight? A loyal Deathian would be out there shouting war cries. "I guess I'm not that loyal a Deathian," Kita muttered. But wasn't that the reason she had left? To be a true Deathian, not an abnormal Hyde-style Deathian? Kita sighed, but she kept her position on the outskirts, not moving to a place in the ranks. Kita pulled a crystal in a battered old cloth out of her bag and ran her callused thumb over it. Her eyes involuntarily rose to search the city battlements for a face she could barely remember.

Adrienne Hyde held a bag packed full of a "witch's", or healer's, necessities. She was not a fighter, but the battlefield--or at least the city--was where she belonged. There would soon be injuries and casualties in the ranks of the "goodie-goodies". Her hand tightened around her bag at the thought that accompanied the phrase for the people of Light, but she quickly banished it. No good thinking about her now. Adie mentally ran a check over her supplies and cast a worried black eye out over the approaching army. Yes, she thought, I will be needed.

((Um, whats happening to the bandits? I don't know where I should stick Keiki.))

All of a sudden a cloud of dust came into view yet no figures could be seen in it. IT was a very strange sight for even though there were no figures the sound of deep voices and quick footsteps could be heard. The dust stopped moving at the side of the first Deathian regiment. Once the dust settled an army of dark armour could be seen, most of which had full helms so one could not see their face. It was the dwarves, their armour was made of the darkest obsidian and Nikel. Durin was at the front, he made no effort to talk to Richter or Faery, he just stood their with a blank expression on his face. He was simply staring at the enemy.
He wore Pure black Nikel armour with spiked arm plates and shoulder plates. It had gold trimming.

Richters mount, Grux, screeched a challenge to Koda, tempting him out and too his doom. However Richter soon calmed him and moved to the front of the armies, alongside Durin who quickly followed. "Now is the time to taste the sweet blood of the elves and the not so sweet of the humans, TAKE YOUR PRIZE IN BLOOD!" He yelled and the Deathian army screeched in unison. "DO it for Golgoth whom will be watching for new warriors worthy of his blessings! BLOOD FOR THE DEATH LORD!" Again the army erupted. He turned his head toward the army and signalled a flag to be waved. It was a flag with the clearly depicted figures of three men, a deathian with a bow, an elf with an arrow in his chest and a human also with an arrow in him. It obviously meant, "ARCHERS!" The flagmen yelled in the ancient language of the Deathians, Khemrian.
The ranks exploded with wraiths transforming back to their human form and rushing forward, they notched their arrows after they had formed a loose formation to counter any arrow retaliation. They were ready to fire, all Richter had to do was give the order and the Elven front line would fall and the assault would begin. Well that was once the siege equipment was made, after all they were in ready to assemble pieces for easy transport and as I speak they are being made.
