Happy Halloween!

I probably mentioned before how Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I do not think I need to go through any history or anything. If you guys really care, you will probably go do that on your own. Very interesting stuff, though!

Now that you are done trick-or-treating (probably), you get to pick up your goodies here, too.

The normal summary of stuff you get:
- A level per character, why not?
- Any uncommon item.
- If you have not previously made one, you can get a half-demon character (though you cannot get the other stuff in the promo for them).

The demon stuff might be a little bit different from last time, but I will try to make it as similar as I remember. Variations, I suppose.

What are the types of demons?
- Manticore: [Poison/Demon] A feline demon that has usually red fur with a black mane, claws, and a stinger on its tail. It can have the ability Poison Heal or Anger Point and can start with the move Poison Sting.
- Penghou: [Grass/Demon] A canine demon that has mostly black fur, nasty fangs, and no tail (but a tuft of fur in its place). It can have the ability Overgrow or Pressure and can start with the move Absorb.
- Shasheru: [Ground/Demon] A canine demon that has variable fur color (usually earth tones), a thick tail, and bone plates along its back. It can have the ability Battle Armor or Sand Veil and can start with the move Mud-slap.
- Bakeneko: [Psychic/Demon] A feline demon with usually dark fur, two tails, and a pair of dark markings on its forehead. It can have the ability Synchronize or Inner Focus and start with the move Kinesis.
- Akashita: [Water/Demon] A feline demon with varying fur color, a very rough fur texture, and often accompanied by a haze (though it can call this off). It can have the ability White Smoke or Hydration and can start with the move Mist.
- Shia-ada: [Electric/Demon] A feline demon that is usually white and has a light on the end of its tail. It can have the ability Limber or Super Luck and can start with the move Thundershock.
- Kamaitachi: [Steel/Demon] A weasel-like demon that is gray in color and has sharp claws. It can have the ability Hustle or Air Lock and can start with the move Metal Claw.

Those are all the ones from before, as I recall... if there is anything in particular you think would go well on the list (other than kitsune; if you want that, go for Ninetales), feel free to drop me a message.

Mmmnm. <3 I'd like to claim the level per character; seeing as I have none as of yet, does that mean I don't get this perk, or how many do I get it for, or...? I'd also like a Blue Sash, and a Bakeneko/Espeon hybrid? :3 Mmm, thanks! <3

Well, you can get it once you have approved bio (please do not insert them in a new bio), and half-demons will not be elligible for the level/item. Though, it is worth remembering, too, that there is an opening promo you can get for any and every character once.

... ^^; Mmkay, nao I'm confused, heh. You said I CAN give it once I have an approved bio, but don't give it to any new bios..? x.x;; I don't HAVE any current bios. O.o ... And if you don't mind me asking, why can't half-demons have the level or item, hm? It just... confuses me..... ^^;

Oh, and is there any limit to how many species can be in a demon hybrid? '^-^;

Well, before one worries about promo things, it is best to complete a bio to the standards as they are outlined in the character thread, which means that it starts at level 5 and with no items. This is to make sure that everything is added properly and that anyone can approve any bio at any time (for example, a mod not aware of all of the benefits of a promo may edit things out that should be there, and then no one is aware that this needs to be corrected).

If you accepted items for bios you have not yet posted, then they will be added when they are accepted so long as they are accepted while the promo is current. Half-demons do not get anything from the promo because they are already, in technicality, a promo item.

The demon hybrids need to be a single mix. That is, two species are involved--one part Pokémon and one part demon. So, for example, you could make a Luxio/Manticore (I still love that sketch), but you could not make a Growlithe/Mightyena/Penghou or a Vulpix/Bakeneko/Shia-ada. Surprised I forgot to mention that. O.o
