This is a list of the chiefs of position in the Guard, who are at the top rank in their positions and tend to arrange training exercises and things for their positions.

Appearance: Ken'ichi looks much like a normal Mightyena, but is a little larger and more muscular than most. He also boasts a score of scars from various battles in which he participated during the recent conflict in Mizzelan Forest.

Personality: Having seen much in his days with the Guard, Ken'ichi is much less emotional than many. He is proud, but responsible. When he is attempting to run a practice, he will not tolerate disturbances or lack of cooperation, and feels no remorse in corporal punishment, unless he is taking a particular interest in a pupil. He is not, however, known to start relationships and usually waits for females to take an obvious interest in him before pursuing anything.

History: Born into a pack of purebreds in Mizzelan Forest, Ken'ichi had to suffer through the reign of the Mizzelan Elite, until he escaped to the Guard. There, he trained endlessly so that he could see to their destruction. He participated in the conflict and shortly thereafter was promoted to the chief of warriors.

Appearance: Although beautiful and elegant in appearance, Kumiko's pelt is surprisingly rough from years of abuse. She has tough muscles that not only make her difficult to injure but provide her with some decent power of her own. She has a diamond implanted on her chest.

Personality: Kind and benevolent, Kumiko would rather lead by example than punish those who disobey. She will give up portions of her meal if someone else is hungry, but understands her part in the workings of the Guard. As a defender, she will not allow others to be injured if she can prevent it. She enjoys male company as much as they enjoy her, but tries to avoid intimacy where possible.

History: Kumiko was born and raised within the Guard and was never sheltered from death or duties. Even though she rarely had to put up with the heavy-duty tasks early in life, she tried to take them on when she could. She particularly admired the defenders, who risked their own lives to save others. With some research, she discovered the best way to pursue this path and worked her way up the ranks quickly.

Appearance: Kalea has the light build of an Espeon, but is somewhat larger. Her fur is mostly dark, with the random violet patterns and underside of a Venine, with the longer fur from her muzzle back along the flanks of her head and a shortened mane, as well. The forehead jewel is a dark violet, but sometimes it appears more gray from a distance. She has a long, fluffy, violet tail that is close to the actual size of a Venine's, making it a bit long for her body, but it does not overbalance her.

Personality: Kalea is mild and quiet. She tries to be proper and will not speak out of turn, always excusing herself if she thinks she has done something offensive or out of turn. Becoming a leader was strange to her, as she dislikes giving orders. She can be a fierce fighter when provoked, but now desires mostly to find a mate and have children of her own.

History: Born into the Guard, Kalea was originally not thought of much and was not treated very well. As a result, she gained a highly submissive attitude, while maintaining her skills, hoping to be of use someday. Once her talent was recognized, the chief had her train to be a kineticist, at which she excelled. After the previous chief of kineticists was killed in the Gavidan Cult incident, she was promoted to fill the spot.

Appearance: Naoki looks much like a typical Umbreon, except maybe a little bulkier. He has scars all over from battles with dangerous opponents, and an especially gruesome one along his left side from a battle with a demon.

Personality: Naoki has been hardened by battle. He participated somewhat in both the Gavidan Cult and Mizzelan Elite conflicts, and has seen much more of combat than he really ever wished. Although he hardly thirsts for combat, he will defend his friends with his life when he sees it fit. He is usually kind, but may be moody and can hold grudges.

History: Born in the north, Naoki had a largely quiet life before he became involved in the Gavidan Cult conflict. He proved his worth as a combatant by defeating a summoned demon, although he barely survived the battle, and quickly became immersed in producing barriers with his natural dark energies. Though he began as a defender, he switched to a shielder as he discovered more effective techniques for blocking energy-based attacks. He mastered his abilities and was promoted to Chief of Shielders.

Appearance: Like the typical Persian, Rahjin is lightly-built. His lithe body is capable of easily dodging enemy attacks, slipping through small spaces, and attracting females whenever he pleases.

Personality: Despite having some rough incidents earlier in his life, Rahjin is cocky and lighthearted. He likes toying with enemies, switching and stealing items at his leisure, but is still capable of striking nasty blows. Even so, he prefers to avoid bloodying his claws and often just sneaks around enemies undetected. He likes females, but will never do anything to compromise a mission.

History: Rahjin was born into a purebred pride of Persian in Mizzelan Forest. Subject to the Mizzelan Elite's rule, he became skilled in evading their jurisdiction on whatever matters possible, and liked harassing them by making things disappear. The Guard saw his potential in sneaking around, and he quickly rose to the rank of Chief of Scouts.

Appearance: Hiroko's form is elegant like a Ninetales', with inflluence from her Espeon side most notable in the shape of her head. She has a mane and a single fluffy, forked tail. Her fur is a beautiful creme color, and her forehead jewel seems to change color with her moods.

Personality: Though very warm-hearted, Hiroko has the potential to be a brutal leader. She expresses tough love, and pushes those she cares to the limits of their potential. Even so, she is lovable and most appreciate her attitude when they understand how much she cares.

History: Hiroko was born into the Guard and trained as a healer for her whole life. Her cooperation and raw talent was rewarded with evolutionary stones, boosting her strength and allowing her to not only heal grievous wounds, but inflict them. She ascended the ranks to become the Chief of Healers.
