Redirect The Central Pier
The region more-or-less in the interior of Maiara is called the Central Pier. It is a very tropical region with frequent rain. In the center of this region is a huge tower. Who knows how it got there? This is a common gathering place for Pokémon of all kinds, as the Police and Guard protect the inhabitants of the tower, as well as other things said to lie beneath it...

Redirect The Northern Plateau
Heading north of the Central Pier and west of the Eastern Region, a huge cliff shoots up from the ground. It must be over a thousand feet tall! This is the Great Maiaran Plateau. The high altitude affects the climate greatly. It is much colder on the top of the plateau than many of the other places in Maiara. But it is far from devoid of life...

Redirect The Eastern Coastal Region
The east coast of Maiara and some of the inland into the Great Maiaran Plateau is the Eastern Coastal Region. The climate here is subtropical--it's warm most of the year, although not many things live on the land here. The region is mostly famous for Evostone Isle, which, although famous, most cannot reach or even see, perhaps because of its powerful aura. Many legends about this place exist, not nearly all of them about Evostone Isle.

Redirect The Maiaran Desert
Just over the mountains, to the west of the plateau and northwest of the Central Pier, is a vast desert that covers much of the northwest of Maiara. It is hot year-round. This is the most common place of exile for those sent away from packs, as it may be hard to live. However, find an oasis and you could be just fine. Rumors circulate everywhere about what you can find and do here. Maybe it's not so bad, after all.

Redirect The Ancient Plains
Believed to have been much the same for millions of years, the Ancient Plains contain perhaps more than their fair share of ancient ruins and relics, including the second-best-known ruin in the land and one of the oldest living things around. Because the land is not particularly fertile, it is covered almost entirely in grass, with a few scattered trees. An occasional stream breaks this trend, but without allies nearby, the plains can be just as lonely as they are dangerous.

Redirect The Southern Coastal Region
Along the southern coast of Maiara is a long beach. Its climate is warm year-round, and Pokémon of all sorts love to come here in winter, or even just for a break from normal life in other regions. The jungle is very dense near the shore, and hides many surprises, even great danger for those unprepared.
