Yes, it's another question about subbreeds. Vote, if you please. Once again, you have two choices.

This time, I'm asking of which base specie you would like more subbreeds... or, well, in most of the cases, a first subbreed. This compliments the first question. It will give me a better idea of which types ought to be applied to what species.

Please do take a moment to think about it before voting. If you only have one choice, there's a nonsense answer this time on which to waste the other one. =D

I was definitely thinking along those lines for Shinx, actually. I have another idea that needs to be finished first, which is just another random idea that I had and liked, but after that, it is time for experimentation with Maiara's environments.

Is Dragon Absol practical? Because a lot of dragon attacks seem like they'd suit Absol... I'll even list 'em.

As much as I would like to agree, I think that there are some rather key differences between the inferred physiology of dragons with any of the acceptable species here.

Admittedly, I am not entirely sure what defines a dragon, but they certainly seem more reptilian overall than any of the acceptable species. I think Arcanine's ability to learn Dragon Pulse is more of an energy type thing than a physiological thing.

Growlithe and Arcanine could actually learn Dragon Rage back in RBY days, when it was a TM. I made some of those moves learnable through move tutors like they did in the games (good luck finding them).

Well, I've always imagined Flygon to have smooth skin, not scales. A dragon Absol could maybe have fur on the neck ruff, but smooth skin on the rest of its body. And dragons wouldn't necessarily be cold-blooded reptiles, especially not with the whole fire connection. And if an Ekans hybrid is acceptable, why not a very slightly dragonish Pokemon? The dragon energy traits could have been obtained through a connection with a Dragon-type legendary, like Latias or Latios, that they absorbed the dragon energy from and it was passed down through their young.

A Dragon Absol could maybe be a light blue color, with red horn and claws and tail and a white face and belly. It would only have fur around its neck and paws, and slick skin on the rest of its body.
