The Tower [X] This huge tower stands in the middle of the Central Pier region, towering many feet over the forest around it. It is said to be built long before the modern races of Pokémon came to inhabit Maiara. The dirt courtyard in front as well as many of the places inside serve as gather places for Pokémon of all sorts. There are many services provided to anyone here, courtesy of the Police and the Guard, sacred guardians of the Amon Seal.

Hunter's Paradise [X] With so many mouths to feed in the Central Pier, there must be a good way to get food. The forests to the north and northeast of the tower are very good hunting grounds. Creatures of all sizes live in these parts. Predators are a problem here if you're not careful, even if you're hunting, as well. Therefore, you must be careful when in these parts, as it could be just as dangerous for you as your prey.

The Berry Grove [X] East of the tower in the forest is a huge bunch of trees that all grow berries. Because of the huge food supply, many Pokémon frequent the area. But other than gather berries, there really isn't much to do here. Laying down to take a nap may not be safe...

The Central River [X] To the west of the tower lies a river. It is not the largest river in Maiara, but it is well-known because it is somewhat close to the tower. Fishing is good here, as the tropical climate supports much life. However, it may not be safe to swim in, as Carvahna are known to breed here. Crossing it could even prove dangerous. But across it lies the vast tropical forest...

The Tropical Forest [X] West across the river from the tower is the vast tropical forest. It is warm and humid here, and it rains usually in short, heavy bursts nearly every day. The trees grow well over a hundred feet tall, where a dark green canopy blocks out much light from the underbrush. Many streams and lakes can be found, as well as various kinds of plants ranging from medicinal to poisonous. When looking for food, caution is absolutely required.

The Twin Pillars [X] Somewhere southwest of the Tower lay two pillars. Their square base and imposing height are constructed from gray stone. One's perception of space is very poor in the area surrounding them, causing many to get lost, and it is difficult to find them because of it. Wisps and orbs are occasionally spotted at night, and spirits may appear here to those deemed worthy. Some say that this place is the gate between the physical world and the spirit plain.
