Scatterwood [X] The easternmost area of the plain is a gradual transition from forest to grassy plain. In this area, the trees slowly thin out from a dense tropical mess to scattered bunches of deciduous trees. The climate is cooler than it is in the tropical central regions, as the land is more vulnerable to cold air blowing in from the sea.

Land of Gusts [X] The largest portion of the plains is refered to as the Land of Gusts. It is covered almost entirely in tall, green grass, with an occasional tree thrown in the mix as well as a few strange ruins. This region is known for high-speed winds at times, and is one of the few places where tornadoes have been reported to occur (although they are quite rare).

The Rocklands [Unclaimed] The northern area of the plains is cooler than the rest, despite being near the desert. The grass here is less sparse, as the soil is rocky. A few ruins and some strange rock formations make it a possible fortress when well-defended, however, and there are many places to store various useful things. Rodents and the birds that eat them roam free here.

The Amphitheater [X] An unusual, bowl-like rock formation lays just among the mountains of the plains, nearly at the border between them and the Central Region. This place is very well-suited to holding an audience around a sizable flat area, making it a popular place for duels of rank in the Guard, alphas of packs, or anyone else who seeks battle with another.

Thunder Mountain [X] This mountain's name is derived from the dark clouds that usually surround the summit, dropping lightning. It is said to be the home of one of the Guardians, but it is very hard to climb, and is even only possible from the plains. However, the sharp rocks and vigilant rock Pokémon found here do not help very often.

Ruins of Nerakaso [Unclaimed] The largest ruin in the plains, Nerakaso, is a huge, stone, castle-like structure, with rather broken-down walls and a large living space on the inside. A river runs nearby, providing the lightly-colored monument a feeling of life. Who built this and why isn't completely clear, but it is a place of sanctuary for many, so cadres willing to live here must be very open to refugees should something happen.

Tretacora [Unclaimed] In the west of the plains is an unusual, towering tree. Among its roots are large spaces in the dirt. This tree is called Tretacora, a relic that has survived many ages, supposedly planted before Amon sealed the Unown under the Tower. It bears many fruits, and is also a great home for a pack. Even though it seems to be able to weather any calamity, it cannot use its power to protect those who claim it, so they still must be vigilant.
