The year is 1976. The Marauders are entering their seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They will be deciding their careers this year and James is finally starting to get positive reactions from his longtime crush Lily.

Lord Voldemort already has his faithful followers and is still on the lookout for more. He has already killed and started his path of destruction of the wizarding world as it now is.

The Ministy is uninformed of what is going on, they have no idea why these things are happening and while they are trying to get to the bottom of it, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is doing his best to cover it all up. This is why The Order of the Phoenix has been formed. A group of Aurors and normal witches and wizards, those who are truly devoted to defeating Lord Voldemort and believe they can gain the necessary information.
