reception area
the reception area is where the guests check in and check out. it's usually very busy, and the numerous sofa's and coffee tables set on the marble flooring are more often than not being used.

new york bar.
a large bar located just off the entrance hall, the theme of which is new york. the bar runs the length of the entire room, and there are small round tables everywhere. the stage usually houses some form of entertainment.

belair hair studio.
the hotel's very own hairdresser's is located on the second floor, and is staffed by some of the best people in the business. it is very expensive, but money isn't really a problem for the guests here.

phoenix health spa.
situated on the second floor, the hotel's health spa is equipped with everything needed to make you feel like a celebrity, even though most of the hotel's guests already are. it was named after phoenix briggs, whose father owns the hotel.

the hotel's restaurant has waiter service, and serves three course meals at certain periods throughout the day. it was named after the hotel owners eldest daughter, but of course, we don't know that, do we?

indoor swimming pool.
a floor down from the reception area you will find the olympic size indoor swimming pool. it's not often used in summer, as the outdoor pools are a lot nicer. but if couples fancy a quiet, and maybe even private swim, then it's perfect.

skyscraper cocktail bar.
this small, but very flashy bar is located at the very top of the hotel, on the same floor as the penthouses. as well as this, it is private to the guests that are staying in the penthouses.

courtyard.
right outside the entrance to the hotel is a small courtyard. at the center stands a water fountain, the bottom of which is filled with coins that have been thrown in by the guests making wishes. there are a few benches.

outdoor swimming pools.
probably the most popular part of the hotel, the two outdoor swimming pools cater to everyones needs. the larger of the two is suited to anyone who wants to go for a swim, and the smaller, circular pool is more suited to those seeking the perfect tan. there are also two hot tubs, each big enough for around ten people.

the dragonfly bar.
the dragonfly bar is situated right next to the outdoor pools, and serves all kinds of drinks and cocktails throughout the day. it also serves food at times when the main restaurant is not open.

port.
as the only way to get to mila island is to travel from hawaii by boat, the port can sometimes be very busy. there is a chauffeur service that runs from the port to the hotel, as it is quite a distance.

waikiki beach bar.
a large part of the beach resort consists of the waikiki beach bar. it serves all kinds of drinks that all come with those cute little cocktail umbrella's. you can also pick up a popsicle or two to take with you onto the beach.

the beach runs all the way around the perimeter of the island, but only this section is actually used by guests. there are loungers and large umbrella's provided by the hotel for you to relax in the sun.
