So what do you guys think? Do we have enough interest to do this? Everyone have the time to spend and maybe get a piece in after 3 months or so?

We could discuss what we are gonna do and have monthly meet ups or even just work on your piece, or part of piece at your house when you have the time.

I still like the idea of us building a Mordheim table. We have some nice pieces already and Zak has some a lot of work in progress buildings. I would love to seem some great themed pieces as well. Plenty of great ideas and we all have bits lying around that can help out.

I'm in. I'd suggest Mordheim as the theme for several reasons.

1. We have Mark's pretty well covered for general WFB terrain, but need Mordheim stuff there if we're going to play Mordheim more often.

2. I'm strongly leaning towards a Mordheim Campaign, so we'll need more Mordheim stuff.

I'm willing to build a few new Mordheim pieces to loan to Mark.

I'd even consider hosting a Saturday or Sunday club terrain building day for anyone willing to come and put stuff together.

I always wanted to try my hand at scratch building broken houses, inns barns, stables, and whatever you would need in a mordheim city....

I'm willing to be a trained monkey and put things together. I have much less faith in my ability to make cool terrain.

I can offer my Lord fo the Ring Battle Games of Middle Earth mags for how and what to build. Each mag has an article about how to build high quality terrain with foamboard.

What I have plans for:

Large stone bridge
How to make hobbit holes
Ruins
Any part of Helms Deep
Marshes
Emyn Muil
Scaffolds (large)
Undergrowth & rough ground
Thatched houses
Craggy hills
Dwarfish halls
Wells
Chasms
Dwarfish rooms / ruins
Village of Bree (very much like mordhiem terrain) - basic buildings, larger buildings, fountans, wells, lean tos, outbuildings)
Orc seigetowers
Anything Minus tirith
trebuchets & catapults (balso wood)
lava flows and lava board
mounains with caves
cirith ungoltower, fortress, walls, etc.
large fort - think if a walled area 20x20 = inspiration for detailed buildings
osgilith ruins (lots of types)
osgilith buildings (all types and sizes)

I have GW how to make terrain too.

QUOTE (WilhelmRochRedDuke @ Nov 13 2009, 11:05 PM)
(sorry, bad Monty Python quote)

ohmy.gif BLASPHEMY! There is no such thing.

Take that back or I shall denounce you as a heretic...

You have one last chance. Confess the heinous sin of heresy, reject the works of the ungodly - *two* last chances. And you shall be free - *three* last chances. You have three last chances, the nature of which I have divulged in my previous utterance.
