Hey Andy,

Thanks for posting. I took a look at the link, but had some trouble following it. Much of it is taken up with planning the event and whatnot. Can you summarize for us?

1. When is the event?

2. Are painted armies required?

3. Is registration required or can you just show up?

4. Any cost to play?

5. Any other requirements, restrictions, or other stuff we should know?

I'm definitely interested in an apocalypse game. My attendance will depend on the answers to the questions above (primarily the date and painted army bits). Thanks!

1. typically in July - this years date is not yet set.

2. strongly preferred, but not required if the past is any guide - they make allowances for chaos marine players who are "paintng challenged". wink.gif

3. in years past you let HakBash know you were coming with approximate point totals but those that just showed up were also accomodated. and some who had been expected failed to show as well. Point discrepancies are somewhat ignored - fr'instance we had a 3000 point disadvantage on our table that was made even worse by the event described in 5.

4. in past years $10 for pizza, cookies and soda and door prizes - this year we may have to rent a space so it may be higher. the first year i won an orc battleforce ($90) the second year i won 2 plastic black orc sprues, 2 boyz sprues and some assorted sprues from the eldar ( i figure about $20 worth?)

5. just bring an easy attitude - like last year a late arriving marine player dumped 6000 points on our table in turn 3 which really turned things around for the forces of order biggrin.gif .

Thanks for the update Andy. The cost and easy attitude are no problem - I'll get both out of the closet and dust them off.

Please let me know when they set a date!

If I'm open that day, I'd love to join you with a big chunk of my Chaos Marines. I've been looking for an excuse to play apocalypse again.
