If Lucien hadn't noticed, there was a silver ring on the middle finger of Ethan's left hand, usually a sign that they were taken was prompted on the ring finger, but that was for more formal and traditional ways of saying that they were married. A ring on the middle finger on the right hand, meant they were single. In this case, Ethan was sort of taken. But as he took out a small piece of scrap paper from his jacket pocket, the ring was clearly visible. Pulling out a small pen, he wrote down the directions on the paper as well as his address. He then slid the paper over to Lucien's path and smiled, "Can you come tomorrow? Directions are on there."
When they talked about casting spells and such, Ethan commented, "If it's fun for you, don't let anything get in your way." But when Lucien said that he would want to cast a temporary spell on the demon, Ethan only reacted with wide eyes, "Oh really? What sort of spell? Nothing embarrassing, I hope." He stated with a forced chuckle. When the other started to cough lightly, Ethan knew that it was because he wasn't used to this change in weather. "You should consider wearing something thick, like my leather jacket, instead of that thin sweater." Ethan said, tugging at his jacket collars a bit, having that suave bold look of someone who could really cause trouble.
Then the chat switched over about relationships, and it was here that Ethan's demeanor started to change. Yeah, he was taken, but he wasn't sure if the relationship with Ashton was working out, and he was partly embarrassed of saying that he was in another guy, but when Lucien said he had this flirty thing going out with Maru - Kenji's brother - that shyness went away. "Oh, really? It's a small world after all." He said light heartedly. When the tables turned on Ethan, he tried not to show reluctance to answer, "Yeah, I'm with someone. If you saw this ring. Another guy..." He sort of lowered his voice, sort of ashamed, but not to extent. "I'm worried things are not working out," Ethan sounded worried too, and his facial gestures supported that.

Lucien did see the ring, and was wondering if it meant anything. He noted that a ring was normally worn on the ring finger of the left hand. It being on the middle finger may not mean anything, but Lucien said something anyway. "Nice band," he complimented, nodding his head to Ethan's hand. "Where'd you get it? I want one." Lucien smiled a little, taking the piece of paper and looking over the directions. Ah, not so bad then. "Yeah, I'll come tomorrow. I'm an early riser though. What time should I come?" Lucien was still a little excited to be going to Ethan's place. He liked the male, though not in that way of course. He had to admit, however, Ethan was a very handsome man. The idea of sitting there playing with his hair for awhile was a nice way to get Lucien to blush further.
As they turned back to his witchcraft, Lucien laughed softly, a toothy grin making its way to his lips. "Nothing serious, of course. Perhaps a little luck, or an attraction spell of sorts. Then again, you certainly don't need an attraction spell. Pretty boy like you must get all kinds of attention. I have to say, I'm a little jealous." Lucien shook his head a little as Ethan suggested a thicker jacket. "No, I'm fine. I have to adjust somehow, right?"
Hearing his hesitation in saying he was with someone, Lucien frowned a little. He reached over and took Ethan's hand, in a friendly way, and patted it. "Hey, it's all right. Sometimes things don't work out like we hoped they would. If it doesn't work it, it doesn't work out. There's no use in dwelling in the past. Come on, Ethan, brighten up a little, ja?" Lucien released his hand, letting his touch linger a moment before pulling back.

When Lucien complimented the ring Ethan wore, the demon looked at his own hand and sort of closed it - making a fist on the table before loosening it up again. "Thanks," He thanked gratefully and laughed lightly afterwards after hearing the witch say he wanted one as well. "Well, you have a good amount of money in your pocket. And since we planned this whole reunion over the internet, why don't you Google it?" Ethan smirked, trying to sound as humorous and kind as possible. The demon took another sip of his coffee, eyes looking over at other people who sat in their own tables, while some were waiting in line to have their orders placed. Ethan returned his sights on the witch, seeing Lucien look over the paper.
"Come over at 10 o'clock in the morning. Is that fine with you? My schedule is practically filled in the afternoon." Ethan sighed, sounding a bit annoyed with all the tedious conversations with old businessmen and stockholders - humans who cared more about money than they did of their own souls. "Business can be quite a battle sometimes." He added afterwards. The demon also felt an aura of caring nature glow around the witch, the both of them were friends, that was not doubted, and Ethan didn't see Lucien as an enemy in any way. And witches got their powers from demons, so the two were hand-in-hand unlike the vampires, and some other groups of the supernatural.
Ethan cared for Lucien as well, but refused to think or go beyond lust or relationships with him. The witch already liked someone, and simply moving in like that wasn't going to help in any way, probably cause more drama which the demon was tired with, especially from Ashton. The demon nodded after Lucien's statement to adjust himself in the weather. After Ethan had explained his melancholy feelings about his relationship, Lucien proceeded to pat the demon's hand just to show care, but nothing more than that. Ethan locked eyes with the other and smiled lightly, taking his word's to heart. "You're right. Regret and worry, especially nostalgia, is a waste of time and energy." Ethan nodded and sort of held the other's hand. Right now, the demon was blank on any other things to chat about, "It's getting late. I'm pretty sure you have things to get to. You can come ride in my limo to your place. You want?" He asked.

"Ten?" Lucien repeated, confirming it in his mind. "Yeah, ten is fine. I get up around six or seven anyway. It will give me time to get ready, then get all the supplies I will need. Is there any hair products you don't like, or are allergic too?" He would need to know, so he wouldn't bring those to Ethan's manor. Just in case. After all, doppelt genäht hält besser. Better safe than sorry. Lucien was sure that Ethan was a busy man, and would make the hair visit as short as possible. Though he certainly would enjoy the visit. Any chance to play with the demon's hair.
Though he would not push that line, of course. He viewed Ethan as an attractive male, who wouldn't? But he knew where the line was and he wouldn't overstep it. Besides, Ethan was involved with someone, no matter where the relationship was at. And he was crushing on Maru. That hadn't gone anywhere yet, he just viewed Maru as a male he would like to get to know. Besides, Lucien fell in love so easily it wasn't even funny.
When Ethan took his hand, though only as a friendly gesture, Lucien couldn't help but blush a little, though luckily it was hidden by the angle of the fluerescent lights above them. Though they locked eyes, Lucien was sure Ethan would spot it. He quickly turned his head a little, to hide it further, if he could. "To be honest, I don't have anything to do. But I would never deny a ride in a limo with a handsome man, albeit a demon-man, but a man nonetheless. Shall we?" Lucien moved to stand, taking his hand from Ethan's.

"Then ten it is," Ethan repeated, giving the other a genuine smile. "I'm not allergic to anything, and please don't bring bleach or any hair dyes." He stated, again he touched his hair as if he was paranoid about someone changing it in a bad way. A man who cared so much about specific looks was sort of questioning, either you were a man who was like the type considered to be 'normal' to society, or you were the weird ones with different tastes.
Also, from what the two of them though, and from what they saw simply by looking at each other, there was something going on there. Even a blind man could see it. But Ethan wouldn't dare make a move on Lucien, and surely the other wouldn't do the same, although demons and witches go hand in hand, right now such relationships wouldn't help them. Besides, Lucien was liking someone else and Ethan was already taken. Though they could still act on lust, and they were entitled to their own private fantasies.
Ethan chuckled from the witch's statement and glanced at his wrist watch, "Absolutely. We should get plenty of sleep for the big day tomorrow." The demon stated, standing up from his chair with his empty coffee cup in hand. Walking ahead of Lucien, Ethan tossed his trash in the necessary container and opened the door, holding it until Lucien exited freely. The limo was there waiting on the edge of the sidewalk, the driver saw both of them before they even exited. The black gloss of the limo gave it this rich quality design, with a blue neon light glowing from underneath.
Ethan proceeded to open the door, and sort of waved into the car, "After you." The demon said, acting like a gentleman. He had his manners, and he meant them, after all, that's what made him very liked by people, especially by the city. Boarding the limo, the chauffeur asked for directions. Ethan sat beside Lucien, an arm automatically around the headrest, the demon looked at him, "Um, since I don't know the directions, why don't you give the order." He grinned.

Laughing, Lucien shook his head gently. "No, no of course not dear," the petname he used in a total platonic way, "I would never do that to you. Though I think you would look brilliant in a bright pink, nein?" Lucien laughed and hurried from the restaurant before Ethan could protest. No, he wouldn't do that to Ethan, ever. That would be cruel. Funny, but cruel. Besides, Lucien hated pink. Always had. He just despised that colour for some reason.
He saw how paranoid Ethan was, and he noted to make sure he washed his hands several times, in front of Ethan if possible, to show he was clean and not all germy. For some reason, he found a germophobic demon was rather funny. He chuckled at the thought a bit. A mental picture of Ethan trapped in a big plastic bubble popped into his mind. Again, he laughed, shaking his head a little. The massive poof of hair moved with him. Lucien smiled at Ethan as he exited the restaurant, throwing his trash in the bin outside the doors, as the ones inside were getting full and he didn't want it to overflow. Lucien blushed a little, seeing the limo. He had never ridden in one before, and he was certainly excited about it. The blow glow beneath the limo made him intrigued. Lucien stepped forward, almost afraid to touch the extended car. He thought he would stain the perfect shiny gloss. So Lucien let Ethan open the door, and he smiled, though nervously.
Lucien slid into the seat, careful as he moved to not disturb anything that may be easily disturbed. Once his bum was planted on the seat, he slid over to allow Ethan room. There was a space between them to allow comfort, but the space may have seemed small for only friends. Though Lucien thought nothing of it, of course. He would admit he fancied Ethan, and would act on a pass had he been given one. But until that moment came, Lucien was going to play the good boy.
However good that was.
Looking over to the driver, he leaned forward so he wouldn't have to shout across the seats, and told him the directions. It wasn't far. Maybe ten to fifteen minutes, depending on traffic. Lucien walked the distance often, so it really wasn't far. Once he had explained where to go, he flashed the driver a friendly smile, then carefulyl slid back into the seat next to Ethan. "Quite a car you have," he said, admiring the interior.

After the both of them entered the limo, Ethan smiled after he heard Lucien's comment about the vehicle's design - internal and out. The demon smoothed his hand on the cool black leather, "Thanks," He said smiling at the other and pulled a remote control from the bottom of the seat. "Plasma tv." He said switching on a small flat screen monitor at the far end of the seat which was sitting off to the side so that anyone can watch. The television screen was displaying an episode of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central - the hilarious show that revolved around politics and history.
"I bet you Maru doesn't have a car like this," Ethan said, sort of hinting at something, which sounded off to be a bit insulting with how he bragged about the things he had. That was just a common thing among rich people, just because they were so high in material wealth gave them the false idea that they could buy love or control people. "This is usually how I get around the city. Sometimes by helicopter. I rarely drive myself to a destination. But sometimes I get my Lamborghini to impress people." Yup, he sounded so much like he was boasting. But what else could he talk about during this trip? It was either a silent ride or not. The ride was so smooth that it didn't feel like they were moving at all, save for the occasional light bumps in the road.

Lucien bounced in his seat a little happily, his eyes flashing brightly with enthusiasm as the tv came out of the seat. It was obvious he had never seen a thing as luxurious as this. He could get used to living in the riches Ethan had. It seemed Ethan was a little conceited though. Lucien had no problem adding to that big head the male had. " No, he doesn't. I could get used to something like this," he said with a wide grin, his lips curling into a smile. "Helicopter? Let's remain in the car, huh?" he said with a nervous laugh. Lucien had never liked heights, and he was sure it would be a big mistake to get into a flying machine such as an airplane or helicopter. " You have a Lambo? Oh can I see it please?!" he begged, his hands clasped together as if he was praying, and bouncing in his seat again. Lucien's lips pouted out, and his eyes were wide, twinkling. [[sorry for the super long wait. I completely forgot about this thread. Please forgive me, yeah? ]]
