At such age, day and night doesn't seem to ever exist. When one lives as long as Milan has, the hours just seem to drag and it was just not noticed where the sun's position laid in the world. The only reason that Milan knew that it was indeed dark outside was the fact that the full moon shone brightly into his room. Giving him an odd comfort as it graced his skin, once Milan found himself at the window's edge. Yes, this was did not sleep. Such a luxury that he did sorely miss, after all... it has been over seven thousand years since he had last slept. The semi-dark circles gave that away, the only flaw that took over his sever and beautiful features. Oh how Milan was a beautiful creature... which he was a creature, without a doubt. His body was the perfect bait for any victims he could ever dream about. His clothes were of the up-most class, aristocratic but with a touch of modern appeal. His hair was not short, but it was just long enough to give that urge to touch it. The mousy soft browns and even a touch of blond was a perfect combination to frame his chiseled out facial features. But the most outstanding feature, one that could be remembered by any victims he chose to allow to escape with their lives, were his eyes... which were crystalline deep ocean blue with a slight touch of danger.
After all, Milan was dangerous. His charming smile, his dainty actions that were carefully executed as well as courtly courtesy that could befit a royal, it was enough to hide the villainous actions of death and betrayal that was his life. Truth be told, it was almost like Milan lead a double life. One of dignity and sophistication, but another of bloodshed and lust. Milan had an unnatural craving for the feel of flesh, but then again he always had a craving for the ladies' blood afterwards as well. Let's just say that Milan wasn't one to leave a scene neat and tidy, though when he exited, his clothes and hands were clean and always in pristine conditions. It has been said before, but needs repeating, Milan was a simply dangerous creature. Not only was he physically more powerful than your average human, but he has been endowed with gifts only those of his kind could dream about. He was the Lord of Shirokimi, everything that he wished to be done was done without question. Not even his house dared to let thoughts betray them... because Milan heard it all. Being of one of the first turned by "The First", Milan was granted powers of the mind. He heard every thought of those lower in power than him with ease. Very few could ever block him out... and those being of older age than him. Vonasse himself, and even Nyx most of the time. To work their minds took work, maybe he had penetrated their minds, only a mere few times in his seven thousand years of death.
Speaking of Vonasse or Nyx, it had been along time since he had seen his dear family members. Milan had been holed up in his room for quite some time now. Not out of anguish or fear, but of loneliness and anger. Milan tended to keep to himself when frustrated, which seemed to happen a lot now. Not even 'Teria could ever seem to make her way into his quarters without the cold shoulder. However, it was getting to be later in the night and Milan was getting restless. Perhaps it was time to make his way out for the night. If not only to feast, perhaps release frustration in other... more private means. Such things required him to find himself in front of a mirror. Now, most would thing those like Milan couldn't see themselves in mirrors... well, perhaps that was true in some cases... but then again none of them expected vampires to be able to crush your skull in on a mere wish either. Such pitiful humans, they knew nothing and could only speculate. Fixing the collar to his spotless long turtle neck shirt, Milan looked perfect as normal. Only he could ever seem to find a small flaw or wrinkle to fix. With that, he slide on a coat with care, which only added to his regal attire. Without another glance, Milan found himself moving out of the room he had confined himself to. Once outside his room, he came into sight every now and then from those in his house, they too were also dressed to perfect and sophistication. It was definitely what Shirokimi was known for beside their power. Milan did not acknowledge any of those in his house, but every single one he passed bowed their head in greeting to their Lord.
Outside the house, Milan walked in silence while under the moon's powerful beams. It felt nice to be outside, the fresh air and the scents that floated around. The only sound being the wind and the small stones that fell the ground after Milan had passed them, afterall... Milan's power was so grand that his mere aura lifted the rocks around his feet as he walked on their own. It was freedom, though Milan couldn't make up his mind if he was ever a captive or not. He had all that he has ever wanted, but he was always left to his own thoughts. He couldn't make up if he liked it or not. Oh well, that was a thought for another day. Milan was just enjoying his walk. Tonight would be a short walk to the village that laid nearest to the Shirokimi mansion. It wasn't the most flashy city, it wasn't one that Milan would normally find himself in. However, he had a small appreciation of this village above all others. After all, it was this village that knew of his existence and in a way protected his house. They lived in harmony, their life for Milan's way of life. This village was definitely appreciated. Hell, they even lived as though they personally lived for Milan's will. They left signs of their worship around town. From the bright red paint smeared above their doors in respect, to the festivals they seem to have in honor of their counterparts that lived not very far away, and even some of their sacrifices of living blood that they willing gave to keep peace. Such a beautiful town.
The town was beautiful even when it was empty like this very night. Milan didn't hear any thoughts from anywhere near him, except perhaps the dreams of small children in their bed or the bar a few blocks over. It was relaxing to know that he was the only one walking the streets, or so he thought. Without much thought, Milan passed an open air market. Just like the old days, which Milan appreciated,. there were stands of fruits and vegetables outside of a rather modern supermarket. Some would call it a Farmer's Market, but that didn't matter to Milan in the slightest. Without thinking, he snatched up a blood red apple before bringing it to his lips. What should have been rich and juicy tasted like ash to the Lord of Shirokimi. It was disgusting, and Milan soon found himself making his way to the bar and the apple laid on the ground in his wake. The bar hosted many young humans, Milan could hear the hot blood beating through their bodies from a block or so away. So tempting... so delightful. Moving his way through the door, Milan felt several eyes fall on him before respectfully going back to their business. Their thoughts betrayed them, however. They were curious, but they knew exactly who they were dealing with. Well, perhaps they didn't exactly know he was the Lord of the mansion they served, but they knew where he hailed from. That was all that mattered. With all the noise of thoughts and words in the place, it didn't register in Milan's mind that there was one in the room that he was unable to hear without ease. It didn't even cross his mind as he went to hang up his coat, a rather attractive human girl already smitten by his appearance. Like stated before, Milan's body was just bait. To help feed his appetite. With a crooked smile, the girl was hooked... tonight was going to be an easy night.

Sleep, such a simple thing really. At night one would lay day their head, close their eyes, and slip into a state of unconsciousness. If one were a 'vampire' as the most recent beings called them, then this sleep most likely came at day break. Oh how for granted all these beings took their sleep. Only insomniacs understood how precious this most basic of human needs was. Oh the gods of the past who sprang up for worship, Hypnos, Somnus his Roman equivalent..how many other cultures worshiped sleep, even if it were just a minor god in their long list. But now, sleep was merely sleep. It had been explained by science..REM cycles..things one needed to stay sane. Heh these were such foreign things..and yet.
The First had come to understand just how important sleep was. He had been a wake for so long before, it was amazing how your body could grow tired, how the increase of power made for a great need to sleep. He hadn't told the others, but one of the reason's he slept, was to get his powers under control. He could hear so many voices, feel every little thing. He had had enough of it, he needed to sleep, to cut himself off from the world. A lesson the others had yet to understand, and this was becoming painfully obvious. Had none of them wished to heed any of his warnings? Surely they were more than powerful enough to keep the numbers of their kind down..and yet all of the houses seemed to flourish! And simple sleep, the one thing he suggested to them, all of them ignored!
Had he not been clear when he said these things? Or did they not believe it was really necessary to worry about such things? Had his warning simple been brushed off by them because of what they were? Oh years, they were immortals, they needn't fear anything, worry about anything..A sigh escaped Vonasse as he allowed his feet to carry him down an unfamiliar path. Where he was, he couldn't say. Where he was going, that was as answerable as the first question. But did it really matter anyway? No..his path would soon become clear to him. He wasn't in any danger, he never really had to worry like the young ones. But wouldn't it have been interesting if he had been able to catch one of those sicknesses..Then the whole world would have been doomed..If he had become one of those blood sucking monsters in the first few years, wouldn't that have been simply horrible.
Oh if he had been the real Dracula! Then the world would have truly learned to fear his kind..if he had ever made any. But he wasn't this so called lord of the night and king of the vampires Dracula. No he was the real First, he was the originator of all of these immortals that moved about the night. His name, his form, these things changed with the ages. Only bits and pieces of him remained, yet he was still recognizable enough by those whom he wished to know him. But what did it matter anyway? None of them had always been with him, none of them had seen his true first form..They all had meet him after his first millennia, after he had come to understand what he was..what he was capable of..Wait no..he had had no idea then what he was capable of..He had an idea..he didn't know the sky really could be the limit if he wished. But from time to time he would question himself. Had he ever been human? Had his mother given him this gift in her womb by some dark ritual? He had never been able to ask her these questions..nor had he ever been able to confront his father about his being either. Only faded memories, blurry images that he kept to himself. None of his kind, not even his beloveds would know these things. What terrible insanity would befall them if any of them really came to know his thoughts. But his mind was guarded well, even Milan couldn't reach in and pull out these thoughts. But that was the way it had to be..it would be his burden alone.
Looking up, Vonasse understood just where his feet had lead him. Was that the reason his mind had just turned to Milan? Hmm yes, fitting that he would find himself so close to the Shirokimi house. Dark eyes looked about the small village, a smile climbing to his face as he saw the blood upon doors, things that were supposed to grant them safety from the monsters that lived so close. Yet none of this could really save them from the brood of vampires, only Milan's will kept this village intact. Hmm how long until Vonasse's silent callings brought the lord out? It was funny how it worked, he wondered if any of them ever noticed the silent, wordless pulsings he sent out to gently pull them to him. He said not a word, but simple drew them in. But where would he meet Milan?
Hmm, dark eyes once more traveled over the town..no place was fitting enough..He couldn't very well have Milan come to some poor man's house. Well he could..but that wasn't fitting enough no no. But oh when his eyes fell upon the perfect place. Sure it was a tavern of sorts, but that was well enough, he could have a drink before Milan came. Entering the dark place, Vonasse made his way to the outer edges of the bar, not wanting to draw any more attention to himself than he needed. Predatory eyes looked over the bar now, watching the few females who served in this place. Certainly one had what he was looking for..Oh yes..A certain blond girl was blessed with AB blood. With a dark smirk he called out for her to come to him, and little did she know this wasn't even her own will! Like in old mythology he moved in the darkness, slowly but surely pushing the light away from his corner so that no others would see his deeds.
This girl would never know how special her interaction with this stranger would be. Glistening white fangs extended as he pulled her close to himself, her body fragile and pliant in his arms. And oh the pleasure that would run through both of their bodies as he sank his fangs into her flawless neck. But to keep up their cover, he made sure no sound escaped her mouth. Funny that the doors to the bar would choose to open at this moment, allowing a lord to enter the presence of the people within. A smirk grew onto dark red lips as he continued to drink, coal colored orbs watching the head of Shirokimi closely as he hung his coat and then turned his attention to the girl already smitten by him. Oh what looks he would receive when Milan finally noticed he was watching him!

Sleep. Yes, it was stated before the Milan did not sleep. Well, in in the way that Vonasse had once suggested to him. Milan did not let his mind rest in the slightest, for his mind was the best thing he had. It was his power and strength. It took years, centuries, to master his own thoughts and to control his feelings to wield such power. After all, he wasn't just the head of Shirokimi because of his good looks. The "sleep" that Milan did get was an occasional slumber, his mind clearly awake and alert to ever motion in the room. If one of his status was to fall into a deep sleep, he might just find himself in an uncomfortable situation to where his life could be at stake again. Oh that night was a terrible one. It was the last night Milan allowed his mind to shut off for a mere hour or so. If it wasn't for his little vessel Izzy, it would have been all over for the house of Shirokimi. Milan had been careless in his early years as a Lord of the great house. How those hunters found his mansion, he still had yet to know. Izzy demolished their bodies and their lives, so there was no way to read into their minds. He was not angry at her for that, no... his vessel served him well and deserved a special treat. It wasn't very often that Milan granted just anybody with immortality.
Yes, the house seemed to flourish, just like how Vonasse seemed to warn all the heads about. However, Milan could but could not be to complete blame for all the children of Shirokimi. In over seven thousand years, those turned by his own lips were limited to three. Only three to this date had been changed by him. The other Shirokimi members were turned by those he had turned, and so on. The lineage just continued. However, Milan would have to take blame because it was from him that this seed spread. Milan was a sturdy leader, he learned from mistakes that was made a long time ago. He kept a tight hold on his house and ran it like a monarchy, if not a dictatorship. His house was strong, which he was thankful for, but that did not mean he would change the punishment for any mistake made. Milan knew how to keep his house in line. They did things his way, or they received the punishment of death. And believe you mean, Milan knew about everything that went on in his house. If not even the whole area on which he claimed his territory. His strength seemed to have no boundaries, except when The First and older Vampires were involved. That didn't mean to say he was weak against them. It was just a bit of a challenge, and Milan liked challenges, hence why he was still very attached to his Lord when others seemed to go off into their own direction.
As just stated, Milan was still attached to his Lord. Though it was unknown to him on how attached he was. Even for an intelligent man with such power, some of the most simple things he was quite oblivious to. For instance, the fact that he was being "called" to his Lord. In his mind, Milan just felt the need to feed after a long time brooding in his room. To Milan, it was just an innocent call of instinct that lead him to the lively bar in the small town beside his lovely abode. It was the sound of the blood rushing through the human's veins that pounded in Milan's sensitive eardrums that made a warm sensation spread throughout his frame and drag him from his mansion. However, given the chance to have this explained to him, Milan would not rush to disprove the fact that this could be a calling from his Lord. Oh no, it wouldn't surprise him in the slightest that he was simply attracted to the call that his master gave him. It was well known that just because Milan was no longer Vonasse's second hand man anymore, it didn't mean that there wasn't a connection between them. It was long ago proven otherwise. Milan simply adored Vonasse to a high degree, and it was unexplainable. Vonasse was everything that the Lord of Shirokimi wasn't. Milan had a talent of being serious and unable to take a joke... or what others would call uptight, but Vonasse was so different... so flexible at times. Milan and Vonasse were like polar opposites in many aspects, Vonasse was somebody that Milan would normally distrust and avoid at all costs. However, with The First... it was just like that saying. Opposites surely attract. There was just nothing that Milan could do about it, no matter how hard he resisted.
Now, this girl had silly little thoughts running through her mind about how she was so lucky that this handsome stranger was paying attention to her. It was almost ridiculous on what was going through her mind. What a poor girl, though this town did nothing when one of their own turned up missing. It was the price they had to pay for their protection. The family of this girl will probably mourn when she didn't turn up, but then move on relatively fast. It was an honor to have one of their family go missing... it was an honor to be a sacrifice. You were, after all, saving your home. Milan couldn't really have asked for a better town to live by. Such simple folks. Let them mate and multiply, it was like a farm... really. It was almost too simple. Milan couldn't help but smile at such thoughts, his and hers. Gracefully taking her hand, like the kind gentleman he was, Milan motioned to the bar... but stopped in his tracks. Without any more hesitation, he changed his mind. The scent of blood, going unnoticed by those humans around him, was caught by his strong sense of smell. It was by no mistake blood. Such hunger rose in Milan, but luckily for us... Milan was a master at control. Instead, he flashed the smitten girl a smile and lead her by the hand towards the source of the scent. There was a vampire here, and by the lack of sound emitted from their thoughts... it was either Nyx or Vonasse. Hopefully the latter. Milan loved his dear sister, probably more than what a brother and sister should, but that love was nothing compared to the joy that caught in the rather apathetic man's chest then the sight of his Lord.
At the sight of Vonasse, Milan smiled... the girl froze in horror. Her lucky night turning into a nightmare. Yes, sacrifices where honored, but honestly. Who in their right mind wouldn't be afraid at a time like this. The girl tensed, as though she was about to scream... but no words would come out. Milan had it so that it was a suffocating pressure on her throat. She could breath, yes, but she couldn't speak at all. Milan was cruel enough to just crush her larynx, but he liked to drink from a beautiful and smooth neck. Oh yes, now it was just Milan playing with his food. He could never just eat when he was hungry, he was like a feline, always having the need to have some fun with his prey. Except his fun normally consisted of the cruelest and foul way possible. Yes, he was a straight forward 'young' man, but Milan was far from the nicest. Turning his attention to the feasting Lord of his, Milan did a small bow of the head in respect. "M'Lord, I did not expect to find you here... hopefully your travels were delightful?" So formal, but there was a definite joy that was in his voice. And it just encouraged his game with his food, turning towards the girl, he gently guided her towards the table were two chairs had appeared out of thin air. "Do have a seat... Miss..." Milan even pulled out the chair for his 'date' before taking his own seat. After a moment, Milan couldn't help but hiss towards the girl in soft tones that everybody COULD hear, "Dear, it is not polite to stare..." Yes, humiliation was definitely apart of his game... and the girl turned a deathly white color before adverting her eyes from the feast in front of her... her future, to the table. As Milan spoke, his eyes were not on the beauty on his right but his Lord... that unique crooked grin on his defined features.

Did humans ever know how truly special they were? Did vampires ever acknowledge this fact? Or were those of his kind too wrapped up in hating what they used to be to really ponder what made a human so special. Humans gave blood, life, exactly what a vampire needed to survive. One couldn't exactly eat his own kind right? Well technically they were all cannibals..eating what they used to be. As much as most vampires hated humans, they all knew that they couldn't survive properly without the mortal beings, and this was likely the only reason the humans survived the nuclear war. What fragile creatures they truly were, how easily they were finished off, even without the help of a vampire..They would even kill their own kind for the simplest of reasons.
From day to day they went about their business, most of them none the wiser of the demons that watched them in the night...and some of them doing their best to not think of the ones that stalked them as prey. Yet, in some ways Vonasse envied them. They knew what their life was,,down to the simplest of things. They knew they were finite beings, that they could perish at any moment. They knew that nothing in life was certain, that any little thing could strike them down. And yet they went about day to day as if they could go on forever. They went about seeing just what they could accomplish in life before they died. and The First envied their knowing, their need to get so many things down before they died. He didn't know if such a thing could happen to himself. He had no real certainty either way whether he would eventually die, or if he would live on forever.
And though he never showed it on the outside, he respected all of his victims. He thanked them for the life that they gave him. Death was nothing to simply over look. For him to continue on in this way, they had to die..something he didn't want to deal with himself..He had to thank them for their sacrifice. Although he would be the first to admit that there were those who he simple thought deserved death and would receive no honor. The murderers, the rapist, all the evil ones, and the simple annoying ones, they would all suffer his wrath. Yet he had to wonder if it wasn't one of the most pleasant deaths they could suffer. Heh based on all the reactions, being bitten by a vampire, or one such as himself was similar to having sex, more so some of the best sex they would ever have. Hmm, certainly this poor girl currently in his grasp would agree with his thoughts. Even though none of the humans could hear her, her pleasure was all too clear to The First. He could feel it, just as she did, and oh the ecstasy they were feeling together. Her hot blood pouring into his mouth, he couldn't help but drain every bit he could, wanting to fill himself with that feeling, that warmth, that life.
Vonasse didn't attempt to stop himself from the moan that vibrated against the girls neck. Oh how sweet she tasted to him. And this all only made him grip harder, bite down even more onto her fragile neck, crushing any and all bones that stood against his powerful jaws. He wanted more, yet there was only so much more she could give before there was nothing left for him to drain. And what a sad moment that was when his victim reached her climax. He wanted more, yet he received nothing as he continued to suck. With a low groan of despair he allowed her body to slowly drop into his arms, released from his powerful jaws of death. Scant seconds passed as he looked at her broken form. Her eyes were closed, and if it were for her crushed and mangled neck, she would look as if she had simply paled in her sleep. How sad for her family when they found her..Yet what could he do to console them? Nothing, and even if he could he doubted he would do anything.
Black eyes then blinked, looking up to Milan, as if he had just noticed the presence of the other. And then his eyes traveled to the girl sitting with him. Who was she? No one of importance, she was just another poor victim, doomed to be the life force that kept a vampire going. Yet she had only one thing going for her in this death..She could claim that the great Milan had taken her..Yet was use was this in death? Nothing. With a slow grin, Vonasse looked back to Milan. "Then you should begin to expect the unexpected, one wouldn't want to be caught off guard in times like these right?" He couldn't help but tease. Oh yes, one of his largest pleasures, teasing Milan. "Travels are always boring, it's the destination that gets me going. And right now being here with you is much more rewarding than being with anyone else..Although I find myself slightly jealous of the girl at your side." A mock frown found it's way to his features, but within seconds it was gone. He wasn't being serious at all with his last statement.

The cocky smile that had once been placed on the Nobleman's face faded as he heard his Lord tease him. Oh how he hated that... being teased like some child. Milan was in half the mind to remind the older vampire that he was by no means the immature child in which he had first laid eyes on. Milan was much more a man, and therefore deserved much more treatment as one. However, Milan kept his mouth closed on the subject for many reasons. First off, it was his master whom we were talking about. Vonasse deserved better than to be spoken down to like how Milan addressed the rest of the world. Being his creator, Vonasse deserved a lot more tolerance than what Milan would normally give to people. Even though he didn't agree with the words or how there was said, he was Milan's master and to be blunt, there was nothing he could to about it. The next reason was a rather far-fetched reason why he would keep his silence. Milan and Vonasse always had these sense of a game. One would fish, the other would bite. Vonasse knew how to push every single one of Milan's buttons to get him to bite, and this was one of the easier ways. However, Milan was much more unwilling to go along with his prod with a lovely lady sitting next him. Besides, the nice cold look that Milan threw towards the first vampire, it would suffice.
Hearing Vonasse's next set of words brought that oh so darling half crooked grin back to the Lord of Shirokimi's defining lips. "Rewarding, M'Lord? I still hold me in such high honor. Surely, one could only think somebody of your status would have forgotten about somebody like me... especially in your long absence.." Yes, Milan's words were polite seeing as he still held such royal blood in him. Such curtsey had been demanded of him since a young human boy. Not even seven thousand years could let Milan forget his manners. Yet, in his words were a scolding. It was a sign of complete unhappiness from one man to the other. In other words, Milan was lecturing the elder vampire for his long absence. No excuse could ever make Milan reconsider his scolding. Vonasse would always know where Milan is, whether Milan wanted him to know or not. However, Milan did not know where his Lord was at all times, which was quite annoying in itself. It was unfair, it was crude for Vonasse to disappear for long lengths of time. Especially when Milan desired his Lord's company. Okay, so maybe Milan was still a bit childish and selfish as he was when he was a young human, but never the less... he was a lot more dignified. "But none the less, I am joyful to have you back again, even if your stay will be as long as the last. If there is anything I can do to make you stay longer, or make your visit at Shirokimi more pleasant, please let me know." Once more, a small taunt of disdain in such formality.
And then the focus was brought back to the girl whom was quivering at Milan's side, as the Master of Shirokimi Manor made to reply to that part of Vonasse's comment. The girl did look absolutely stunning, so young and so vibrant, though the shaking and near tears were not helping this image. The girl had dark curly hair that spiraled down her back, and the perfect hour glass frame that nearly every guy including Milan couldn't help but give a nice glance down. Her skin was spotless, her complexion what most girls would die to have. It was Milan's normal kind of girl he went for, one that he wouldn't mind taking back towards the mansion for a night's dance before a final feast. Oh how her long legs warmed his cold body the best it could. Yes, just the mere sight of her made Milan in a brighter mood than what he had left his home. Not to mention having his Lord there watching, it felt like a rush no amount of blood could give him. "But Vonasse, dear. Just a little? Surely you jest, if anybody is jealous of this young girl here... they should be." Yes, Milan knew his Lord was probably just joking, since Milan was quick to see Vonasse's mock look fade shortly. However, he would just go along anyway. Just to play. Milan liked to play with his food before ingesting it. As Milan leaned over, the girl closed her eyes and several tears squeezed out. She was scared stiff, but that seemed to change the moment that Milan merely touched her. Milan touched his cold lips to the corner of her mouth. Instead of quivering, the girl seemed to relax with a bit of a sigh. Not as though she was about to faint, but one of trust and pleasure. The reaction got even more intense as Milan's lips moved down towards the jawline, following it down towards the bare flesh over her neck.
Falling back into her chair, the girl's breath became labored yet intense. Sliding slightly in her chair, she moved her legs together as though his lips were causing a grand sensation between though perfectly formed legs. By the time Milan's lips graced now the neck to the collar bone, letting his teeth gently scratch the surface of her hot skin, the girl was struggling to keep herself together. The girl was definitely calmed by this time, fear no longer displayed on her face. However, Milan did like to play with his food. Which was stated earlier, so he pulled away slowly from the girl. She looked about ready to kill herself if he got away, that was for sure. Turning back to his Lord, Milan no longer had that crooked smile... it was a full blown smirk. "I think, I am even jealous of myself..." The girl was obviously not happy with this twist, after all she had been intoxicated with Milan's touch. It was almost like she could never live without his touch again, it was almost pathetic if Milan wasn't enjoying it so much. As Milan spoke to Vonasse, and reaching for his own glass of useless wine, he even felt a hand under the table move up his thigh from this lovely lass. He almost felt guilty for stopping, almost.

Games. All this ever was was one long game. Each and every one of them had a special game, and no matter the outcome of the last game, a new game would start as if the last had never happened. Each of the seven had their own specialty, their own rules, and no game resembled another in the slightest bit. With Nyx it had always been about the chase, about giving into the wild pull of nature, and about seeing who could best who in their chase. Who would be able to outsmart the other before they came together. They may have been the only two who could enjoy such a game, but it didn't matter, they were the only ones to play it, and the pure ecstasy they felt from it was enough. With Bryce it was something else. With the lord of light, Vonasse felt that they played the game of morality. Vonasse would push to see how far he could go with until Bryce could handle it no more and began to chastise him, tell him it was wrong. It was quite fun, and he was sure sometimes that if he could only get Bryce to give into his desires he would win..But with Milan, oh the game was something else!
With his precious Milan it was all about who got angry first. One would say some form of back handed comment, and then the other would just have to retaliate without showing any form of anger. On and on they would go until an argument with calm yet sharp words began. Then the tension in the room would rise, yet they could continue to stare at each other so placidly. Back and forth the words would go until one could no longer keep their anger in check and they lashed out. Usually it would be Vonasse who would try soo hard to try and get the noble Milan bent out of shape. How he loved to get a rise out of the unshakable master of Shirokimi House. But, there were plenty of times when Milan returned the favor and decided to get under The First's skin. It was their game, and it was played with all smiles until it reached it's end. Such a funny thing it was, and it's participants were all but too happy to play it. others probably couldn't understand why this game was so pleasurable, but in this game the ends justified the means. One simply had to come back after they were done exchanging their pride filled words to see the results.
Now try as one might, it was hard not to find the sting in the words or actions of another who was pressing hard to get a reaction from you. How horrible they both were for this game of theirs, with this words they spoke, but don't try to stop them. And most definitely don't try to get into it with them, lest they both turn their attention to the new target. Luckily for everyone else their attentions were wrapped up to the three living and one dead at their table, all to busy or dead to pay attention to those lurking outside the wooden things reach. Most of all, Vonasse's attention was solely on Milan, whose latest response began to ebb away at The First's ecstasy from moments past. "Have we forgotten the little saying 'absences makes the heart grow fonder' dearest Milan?" Vonasse allowed his voice to roll out smoothly, closing his eyes for a moment to give the slightest of shrugs. Oh their little act, someone was bound to get their feelings hurt, if only for a brief moment. And now began Vonasse's attempts to make Milan slip his guise. He had to have the high and mighty lord of Shirokimi act like a normal peasant, no matter how hard the slender male fought against this, no matter how upset Milan would be for even the thought of his greatness even being compared to that of a 'lesser being'.
"Well for starters, a larger room would be much appreciated." Vonasse's eyes held that oh so devious look to them as he began to take Milan up on his offer of making Shirokimi a more pleasant place to stay at. "I would like those mint chocolates placed on my bed every time it's made. I want someone to run my bath water at exactly ninety-nine degrees fahrenheit with lavender scented bubbles. Every four hours I want a new human sent up, preferably from the ages twelve to sixteen blood type AB; whether it's a boy or girl is unimportant but a boy would be preferred." If Milan was going to speak like a servant in asking what would make his stay better, then Vonasse was going to respond very cheekily as such. He hated there being a large fuss over him, yet he loved attention. Such a fine line to walk no? Yet dark eyes soon lost their playfulness once more as jealousy filled them. Was he really jealous of the girl and her physical looks? No. Why on earth should he be? In his mind, on certain days, no one could compare to him. But then what made him so jealous? One simply needed to watch Milan's actions to get the answer.
How dare this no named girl get such attention from this nobleman! She was nothing special yet here she was getting such affection from Milan. That should have been him! Yet surely this was a part of the game as well. How dare Milan give her the time of day that she was so undeserving of! If the girl only knew how much Vonasse loathed her for being here, for calling attention away from him. If it wouldn't have shown how agitated he was he would have shoved her out of one of the windows of the bar. But in truth he wasn't really angry at all..it was all the game. None of the anger staid past a few moments before all was forgotten. Yet in those few moments the anger was as real as the girl's tears had been only moments before. "I'm afraid my date has already begun to grow bored. How she wants to leave, but that would just be rude now wouldn't it? Not everyone's finished their meals." A grim smirk began to play across Vonasse's face as he looked to the girl in his arms once more. Soft hands found themselves brushing back a bit of red hair that had belonged to the now motionless girl. She had grown cold already, her life now frozen in this moment. Death was such a horridly beautiful thing wasn't it.
