Hmm..What to Do.., ;; Zack

[Cloud]

This place...was nothing like Onyx City. Cloud was quickly finding that out as he walked the streets. They even did stuff like this during the day? Cloud couldn't even hide the look of shock that had grown to be on his face. The blond was quickly finding that this wasn't the type of place he wanted to be in..He just hoped that no one tried to keep him here. Oh the stories he had heard about this place. He hadn't thought that they could possibly be true..but..with what he was seeing everything he had heard, it could very well be true!

Not wanting to draw attention to himself, Cloud slipped into the only place that didn't look to be crawling with the people that infected this city. Josie's..Karaoke House...Hmm this wasn't something Cloud ever expected to find in a city like this..But at the moment it was his salvation. Slipping into it, Cloud let out a sigh of relief. There didn't seem to be anything remotely similar to what was going on outside of this place compared to the inside. Trying not to have a panic attack, Cloud moved to the back of the place. How was he going to get himself out of this city without attracting too much attention? He was sure his hair alone had caught the attention of a lot of people..and leaving at night wasn't something that seemed to smart at all..Great...he was just stuck wasn't he? With a defeated sigh, Cloud laid his head on the table..What was he going to do?

[Zack]

Zack hummed slightly as he walked through the streets. Yup, he had no problem with what was going on here. It was normal. Now if the people hadn't been doing this, he would have paniced. Yes, that would not have been normal at all. But... A few hookers out on the streets. People trying to get him in the alleys, to try and jump him, sell him drugs, or God knows what probably.... Yup, this was normal. His only response was to grin at the people and keep on walking.

He'd learned early on if you acted vulnerable, you'd be dead meat. The more you tried to not draw attention, the more you did in this town. Best to be just yourself... Unless yourself meant shy and withdrawn then you were screwed... literally. He stopped, looking around... Yeah.... that felt familiar. He grinned slightly. He blocked out the other heartbeats, focusing on the more familiar one. A Karaoke House? He hadn't noticed it.... Ah well.

Slipping inside, he looked around. His grin grew bigger as he noticed the blond spikey hair. Walking over to him, he put his arm around him. "Spiky!! How ya been?"

[Cloud]

Sometimes cloud went into a state of self pity. Often he would remain in such a state until he pulled himself out of it, or if someone decided to kind of shock him out of it. At the moment Cloud was in one of those states, but this was quickly forgotten the moment Cloud felt an arm come around him. He hadn't had his head up, let alone had his eyes open, so when Zack had come into Josie's Cloud had been completely unaware of the male. And well, how else would one react when an arm gets wrapped around them in a completely foreign place that's known for not so great things happening to the people living there? Cloud flipped out. Albeit for only a few seconds before he heard Zack's words. But none the less, the blond did have another near heart attack.

Instantly blue eyes shot open, originally with fear, but now they were glaring at the male who had greeted him with the words 'Spiky!! How ya been?' "Well I'd be doing great if you didn't just give me a heart attack!" Cloud screeched out. Ok..now he had to focus on his heart beat. How did Zack always manage to get him to nearly have a heart attack. Would the dark haired male not be satisfied until Cloud dropped dead from one? But honestly, Cloud was really happy to see they guy..at least now he wouldn't be alone..

[Zack]

Zack grinned slightly at him. He didn't have to worry about biting Cloud. He'd already eaten before he left.... Plus it was still rather early. He laughed at Cloud's voice, being all squeeky. "Aww... Not my fault your so easy to scare..." he said. He wanted to add, And Adorable but he wasn't sure how the blond would react to that.

But putting that aside, he looked at Cloud with a frown. "What are you doing in this town anyways?" he asked him. This City wasn't safe... And well... Cloud was a walking potential target...

[Cloud]

Oh the glare that Cloud was giving Zack after his fist comment. "Well maybe if you didn't sneak up on me, I wouldn't have a problem." Cloud stated, sticking out his tongue. Oh yes, quite the sixteen year old he was. But the question Zack asked him instantly sobered Cloud up. With a sigh he looked off to the side. "Well..Onyx city was really expensive..and so..I thought there had to be some other place that was easier to live in...turns out Crystal City..isn't exactly what I thought it would be.." He was young and blond..he was bound to make mistakes..the only thing was, it wasn't good to make mistakes here..things had a tendency to turn bad quickly here..

[Zack]

Zack sighed lightly, shaking his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He'd given Cloud enough money for a hotel at Onyx City... Regardless of how expensive it was there... Hell, he'd rather Cloud slept outside in Onyx City then anywhere in Crystal... It was just that bad a place. He frowned, looking around. He was debating whether or not to stay here. If they ran into trouble. Zack could easily show he was a vampire to the townsfolk here... They new about the vampires.... But again, he didn't want to scare Cloud away. He shrugged, motioning towards a table. "Come on. I"ll buy you a drink." he said to him. He walked over to a table and sat down.

((Can they drink beer and stuff? I kinda figured human food would make them sick... but what about beverages?))

OOC: Actually the vampires on here can eat a very limited about of human food before they get sick, but they can eat it. Drinks are the same way, they can have some, but just a limited amount, can't have too much, and can't really get drunk unless they feed off of a person who's drunk.

Cloud simply tilted his head as he watched Zack. Was the other mad at him for coming here? it's not like he'd known what this place was really like..But..it wasn't like Cloud had a choice in where he got to sleep, save the fact that it would be somewhere outside. Cloud then blinked at Zack's next statement. Hmm the blond certainly hadn't expected that. "Umm..but I'm only sixteen.." Cloud stated in a small whisper to Zack, he wasn't sure if that would be ok here...He didn't want to get them in trouble for being underage..

Zack grinned at him. "Your in Crystal City. As long as you pay, they may not care. And always have someone you trust with you... someone might try and slip you something...." he said to him. He sat down at a table, motioning for Cloud to do the same before flagging down a waitress. "Anything you want Spiky." he said to him.

Cloud nodded listening to Zack. He was a blond..but he wasn't that blond. His mom had taught him well enough, he wasn't about to accept anything to drink from someone. Though he had to wonder if food was something else..He'd taken food from Zack before..was that alright? Yeah he guessed so...Zack was his friend right? Yeah. "Ok...but um..what's good?" Cloud asked, he had never really had anyhting to drink before..at least he hadn't had anything alcoholic before..

Zack blinked... Ah hell... How was he suppose to know? He really didn't drink anymore. There was no point in drinking if you couldn't get drunk. And he could only do so when feeding off a drunk person. He blinked, thinking for a bit. "Well.. Coorslight... wine Coolers...Moonshine....Whisky...." he began naming off drinks he could remember having that he liked><

Hmm which to choose which to choose...Wine Coolers sounded good. "I'll take a wine cooler.." Cloud said with a nod to the waitress. Sometimes Cloud could be very oblivious..scratch that, Cloud was often oblivious to the attention he received from others. It was sad that most older men found Cloud very attractive, and the fact that if Cloud was ever put into a dress he would look just a good if not better than most women. Cloud was blessed and cursed with beauty. And right now, quite a few not so sober men were finding the blond more and more attractive..The one with him didn't look so tough..they could easily remove him from the equation, and then blondie would be all theirs.

Zack chuckled lightly, shaking his head. "I'll have a Coors Light in a bottle... Not that crappy can shit." he said, making a face. he then turned to look at Cloud. "So how was your night?" he asked him.

For starters, those men were going to try and get Cloud's attention. And sending him drinks was the first thing that came to their mind. Cloud on the other hand was simply oblivious to all of the attention he was warranting from the others in the room. "It was..nice.." The blond answered, he had enjoyed it..even though it had been a short stay..And before Cloud knew it quite a few drinks were placed before him..And none had exactly been the ones he ordered..in fact they were much more...'girly' drinks. One had even been a strawberry daiquiri..And all Cloud could do was slightly glare at the drinks..What did they think he was a woman?

[Zack]

Zack nodded his head. He was about to say something when the .... drinks were set in front of him. He made a face. "We didn't order this.." he said to the waitress. He pointed at the drinks slightly making a face as he did so.

[Cloud]

soon Cloud found that his left eye began to twitch as he continued to look at the drinks. And what made things all the more worse was what the waitress said. "The guys over there sent these..to um..you." She motioned to all of the guys before pointing to Cloud. Yep..those guys thought he was a woman..and they were trying to get his attention by sending him drinks..great..

[Zack]

Zack frowned, looking at them. He then looked at the human males and felt the sudden urge to just kill them... Why? He had no idea. But he did. His jaw locked in place slightly, not trusting himself to open his mouth to say anything.... Yup, good thing he didn't. He could feel his fangs.

[Cloud]

"They already paid for the drinks..so you don't have to worry about that..And we just made them, so there's no chance of anything being in them....so..I'd drink them and still have nothing to do with those guys." The waitress said, a little giggle at the end as she walked away. She had done that plenty of times, it was a great way to get free drinks. Yet all Cloud could do at the moment was glare at the drinks. Why were they so girly?..Yet part of him did think that the drinks looked like they'd taste good..."So Zack, would you like to try one of my drinks?" Cloud asked, slowly looking to the other man at his table. Maybe they should let the drinks go to waste...But would it give those guys the wrong idea? Because they were certainly hoping blondie would drink up.

[Zack]

Zack blinked slightly as he looked at the drinks in front of them. . . Or rather, Cloud. He frowned slightly. Well, what did he as a vampire have to lose? Nothing really, right? He shrugged, taking a drink and taking a sip from it. It tasted. . . Fruity. Altogether not bad. But not what he’d order to drink. To. . . Girly. “I think they think you’re a girl. . . Or they want to see you in a dress then strip out of it. Slowly.” He said. Although, Zack couldn’t understand why. But. . . Yeah. Disgusting drunk men.

He looked up at Cloud. “You gonna drink them? She has a point. They are free. It would be a shame to let it go to waste. And if they want to make something of it, I’ll beat them all up. They don’t look that strong.” He said, looking back over at the men who’d given Cloud the drinks. Yup, he wanted to rip their necks out, but that wouldn’t be good . . . now would it?

[Cloud]

Cloud could never understand why there was always such a stigma when it came to alcoholic drinks. Was it really such a bad thing to drink drinks that tasted fruity of chocolaty? What if you liked how they tasted? Was it really such a bad thing? And what made them so girly..besides the color...and the shape of the glass..and the sometimes random colorful little umbrellas that were stuck in some drinks..Eh so many questions. But Cloud knew better than to ask or question out loud, and he certainly didn't want to appear un-manly, so Cloud often just went with the 'manly' crowd and ordered 'manly' food and drink. So when the girly drinks continued to pile up on the table, the blond couldn't help but feel a little bit miffed. He didn't think he was girly...Yet Zack's first statement only managed to reaffirm the fact that most of the men, if not all of them, thought he was either a girl or a very feminine male.

"Ew. Why don't they bother someone closer to their own age..." Cloud sighed as he looked to the rest of the drinks. "I might as well...drink a few...No harm in that right? Besides it's not like we have to pay for them.." The spiky haired blond said with a shrug. Though he could help but laugh a little bit at his current thoughts. Now was his chance to see just what the girly drinks tasted like, and no one would ever now he actually wanted to. "Just...I don't...I don't want you to fight if they do try something...running in this kid of situation might be better..." Cloud said, not wanting Zack to get injured.

[Zack]

Zack continued to watch the gusy, his eyes narrowing. Didn't they see that Cloud had obviously come with company? Or did they seriousily not care. He blinked, his blue orbs focusing on Cloud again, He nodded his head. Yes, why didn't they go for someone more their age . . . Zack had to snort mentally at that. He really wasn't in any position to talk. . . He then smiled at Cloud. "Might as well. It'll be rude to waste the drinks in any case." he said, finishing the drink he had. His mind began to wander to absolutely nothing. He was trying to think of ways to get rid of the other humans actually without bringing attention to himself . . . or rather, what he was.

He blinked, looking at Cloud as the other asked him not to fight the humans. He smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry about me Spikes. I can beat them with my hands tied behind my back and blindfolded. They just want to intimidate. That's all they're good for." he said. But he nodded his head slightly. He wouldn't fight if Cloud didn't want him to.

[Cloud]

With a nod of agreement to what Zack said, Cloud began to drink up the fruity drinks. Now it just so happened that Cloud had lucked out with coming here with Zack. Had the blond been alone he would have likely ended up with some form of date rape drug in his drink and that would have been the end of that, for both Cloud and his virginity. But since the brave raven haired vampire had come along and run into Cloud, the blond's drinks remained thankfully clean. Save for the alcohol. And that alone would be enough to warrant reactions from Cloud. Oh yes, Cloud was quite the light weight when it came to drinking. Hey, he was only sixteen. Hell he couldn't really recall how many times he'd actually had an entire drink before. Well...he could add today to his memories now couldn't he. Well..that is if he'd be able to remember any of this...

"Yeah but...don't you think there are maybe...a little too many of them..I mean..I'm sure you could take them and all..but...I just...don't want to get you injured.." Cloud said, just loud enough for Zack to hear..He didn't want to embarrass him..The blond couldn't help it though. Zack was the only person he knew here...heck Zack was the first person that Cloud felt he could actually call friend...He couldn't let that person be injured just because of his looks. But...that just made Cloud wonder. So midway through his second drink, while he tried to push the thought that he actually kinda liked the taste of the drinks, Cloud turned towards his companion. "Hey Zack....you're...you're my friend right?"

[Zack]

Now, Zack would have enjoyed drinking these . . . if he'd been able to get drunk off them >< It sucked being a Vampire. The only way for him to get drunk was to drink the blood of someone already intoxicaded(sp? brain died earlier today). And once you got started, it was pretty hard to stop drinking from them. His attention was drawn back to Cloud. He smiled slightly as he expressed his want for him not to get hurt. "Don't worry Spikes. They won't hurt me. And I've faced more people at once than just them. Trust me, if it did come down to a confrontation, I'd be fine." he said. His tone told the blonde that he had no desire to fight. Zack was a passasive individual . . . he'd rather not fight.

He looked at him in slight confusion as he asked if they were friends. Zack kinda thought that was obvious. "Of course we're friends . . . Why wouldn't we be?" he asked.
