Title: New guy in town
Liam - May 17, 2008 11:56 PM (GMT)
Liam walked through the city in hopes of purchasing supplies, as well as some ammunition. He was wearing a coat that concealed his sword, which was strapped to his waist, and his pistol with a silencer, which was in a holster inside the coat. He heard stories about this place and was well prepared.
Tidus - May 18, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
Tidus made his way down one of the many streets of Crystal City. If people thought this city was bad during the day light it only seemed to be worse once the sun had set. It was then that the undead came out and as it was plainly obvious they didn't care if they were spotted in this city. After all it seemed that the humans didn't care. They were too busy raping, and killing themselves in the streets to even notice the Vampires as they hunted down the humans. Looking up from his own thoughts he noticed a human with a long cloak making his way down the streets as well. "You know you look suspicious were that thing."
Liam - May 18, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
Liam heard someone talk to him and turn around. He could easily tell this man was not one he could trust easily. "Perhaps. I am just a traveler. Anyway, I have my reasons for wearing this." he said honestly. He knew he looked suspicious and purposly gave the appearence as he heard the many stories of this place. "I have no intention of staying long, so you won't have any problems." he added.
Tidus - May 18, 2008 12:33 AM (GMT)
Tidus chuckled lightly upon hearing the others statement. If he had weapons under that cloak there was no need to hide them. At least not in this city there wasn't any need to do so. No one would have paid him any mind, however the fact that he wore the cloak brought the attention to him. "I don't think I'm the one who has to worry about anything. Its you that needs to worry about others here." he said lightly with a small smirk spreading across his features.
Liam - May 18, 2008 01:28 AM (GMT)
Liam smirked and chuckled at this comment. "I know about this city. For all I know, there could be a rapist behind me, or there is a vampire next to us. It's an everyday thing here, am I right?" he asked rhetorically. He did have quite some knowledge about alot of things, and crystal city was no different.
Tidus - May 18, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Tidus smirked as he nodded his head lighty. He didn't mean to come off and make it look like the other male didn't know anything about the city. Looking around Tidus already noted several other Vampires of his House and others that he has met through the years. "Well being from around here I can tell you that there are several Vampires standing around you." He stated lightly as he returned his attention back to the male before him.
Liam - May 18, 2008 01:53 AM (GMT)
"Well, anyway, I do not see why I would be worried. I have nothing against Vampires. After all, you said I was the one others had to worry about. What about this makes me look suspicious. Seeing as alot goes on here, I would look just like an ordinary outsider rather than a suspicious person. I doubt anyone can really trust anybody who lived here." he said, making a comparison. "Regardless, I do have my suspicions about you. You out of everyone else here has commented about what I wear. You seem to be the most insecure out of the residents here as far as I know."
Tidus - May 18, 2008 02:04 AM (GMT)
Tidus chuckled lightly as he rubbed the back of his head. Ok so maybe he did seem a bit insecure. However he had nothing to fear from this guy, not anyone else in this village. "Well I know everyone from this city. And I do become suspicious of new faces." He said lightly as he glanced back up at a few other Vampires who seemed to be watching them. "The residents of this city don't bother to hide their weapons. Of course if you have something to hide that would be a different story."
Liam - May 18, 2008 02:53 PM (GMT)
Liam understood Tidus's point. "You have a point there. Well, regardless, I have no intentions of harming anybody." he said, smiling a bit. He did not look like it, but he was pretty young to be a traveler. He then made a sudden turn, drawing out his silenced pistol, pointing it at the head of a man who had a knife, as if prepared to slit Liam's throat from behind. "I recommend you back off." he said calmly and politely.
Tidus - May 18, 2008 10:51 PM (GMT)
Tidus smirked lightly as he nodded his head to what Liam said about not having intentions of using his weapons. However he noticed a man coming up from behind him with the intent of cutting Liams throat but made no motion to warn him. Why should he? If he was killed then that meant he wouldn't have to hunt for his next meal. He chuckled lightly. "Now you do have the intention, and if I were you I'd keep that out." He said lightly to Laim, before turning his attention to the man and grinning while baring his fangs at him. The man went white upon seeing his fangs, however Tidus quickly allowed them to return to normal size.
Liam - May 19, 2008 10:01 AM (GMT)
"I get your point. And what's that guy's problem?" he asked rhetorically as Liam saw the man turn white. He then added in "Rhetorical question." because he was making a joke about the man who tried to attack him. Some vampires were giving him a look of interest, but decided not on attacking him for a strange reason. "Would you be able to direct me to where I could buy some ammunition?" he asked. He did not know where it was and felt stupid.
Tidus - May 19, 2008 12:54 PM (GMT)
Tidus smirked lightly as he turned his attention back to Liam. "It depends on your amunition, and whom it is intended for." He said lightly. He was just about to help a stranger that he had met ont he streets look for amunition that could he used later on to kill his brethen. "However I will have to decline on showing you, for personal reasons of my own I can't do so." He said lightly
Liam - May 19, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
Liam thought about what kind of ammo he would need. "I would need ammo for my pistol here. I do need normal bullets as all I could get where I am from were silver bullets...I may also buy another pistol and silencer so I can seperate the two ammos. I do not have it intended for anyone, I use it for defensive purposes only." he said honestly.
Tidus - May 19, 2008 08:35 PM (GMT)
Tidus listened to what he said before shaking his head lightly. "Sorry but I can't help you." He said lightly as he backed away from him slightly. Tidus just wasn't about to help a human that could end up killing him later on. Sure he hated his life as a Vampire. However that didn't mean he was just going to through his life away.
Liam - May 19, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
"Oh, ok. Well, thanks anyway." Liam said, smiling a bit. It was now apparant that he was pretty young to be traveling on his own. "I guess I will see you around then." he stated before turning to look around to find a store that sold ammunition.
Tidus - May 19, 2008 08:45 PM (GMT)
Tidus chuckled lightly as Liam started to look for ammunition again. He glanced over at some of the Vampires standing around them and nodded his head towards the cloaked man. A few of them pushed from the walls in which they were standing next to and started to make their way over towards Liam. A few of them approached him from behind were as the rest came from in front of him.
Liam - May 20, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
Liam saw himself being surrounded and knew that it was a group of vampires by their movements. They must think I am an amature. I won't bother them yet. If they try anything, I will fight. Still, I may need some precautions.. he thought before noticing a grocery store, realizing he would need some food and supplies from it. He put his weapon away (for now) and walked inside the building. He could buy the food and supplies he'd need, and get some garlic aswell. He would not get much as he was not exactly the richest man from his home, just enough to last him for the journey to the next town. When he finished buying the supplies, he placed two cloves of garlic, one in each chest pocket on his coat. They showed no physical signs of being there. Then, taking out his weapon again, he walked out, being sure not to make eye contact with the group. It was time he left this town.
