Talking, Brook and Cody

"Hey Cody"




(Just thought i would start the topic)

[Cody Ranks]

"Hey. Tha ks so much for . . . helping. I could never have done it without you."

[Brook West]

"No problem, i would help you any time. Just ask and i will be there for you." She said i a soft voice. she looked at the table they were sitting at. They were sitting across from each other. in a small square shaped area. There were a few small sqaure areas in the cafe. With a window on the sides of each one. they were both sitting with their hand on the table almost touching but not yet. "So tell me about your family. What are they like?"

[Cody Ranks]

"Mt family?" Cody laughed slighlty. "My dad retired as soon as Ranks Shipping went public, now he has nothing to do but boat and golf. My mom works as an artist- she dosn't have to, byut she loves to do stuff like that and loves to work- retierment would kill her. My other family is pretty distant- they all live pretty far off. What about you?"

[Brook West]

" My family...." She trying to remember she wasn't home very often and when she was she was a ways in her room. " I dont know they are normal. I dont spend very much time at home with my family."

[Cody Ranks]

"Oh ya." Cody grinned. "I guess thats cool sometimes... So you like to play soccer? What else do you do?" he began to tap his hands on the table nervously. Not hard, but light enough not to be heard.

[Brook West]

" Well i surf sometimes but not the best. And well i do normal people stuff. She looked down at the table watching him tap his finger. She was suprised she wasn't doing th samething she was always fiddling with something. "So what do you do?" She asked looking up from the table slowly making her way up to his eyes.

(Took you long enough to reply. MY GOD!!!! LOL)

[Cody Ranks]

"Well," said Cody, looking through the window, "I'm a performer. I act and sing and I play violin and piano; and I've composed an opera, as well...It was really hard, and it's perfectly dreadful, but oh well..." he grinned sheepishly. "I just love to do stuff here and there, you know- not the best discription of me, but close enough. I dunno... Not a lot."

(I know I am SO sorry but school just started for me and I have been really busy, I hope I can get on more now- so sorry. )

Violin and he composed an opera. Holey shit what was she getting herself in to. ( I am laughing to hard right now) All she had done was... Um.....UMMMM...... well she was......UMMMM... she was nice. That was good enough. Or well as good as going to get. She stared start into Cody's eyes and a song poped into her mind as she explored his soul with her eyes. She sang the song in her head:

She kept singing it in her head. Great now it was stuck in her head.
Songs always just poped into her head.

She finilly stopped staring at him after a will the song slowly drifted off out of her head, as she thought about him. He was just so.... cute and.... well he probley hasn't even gotin in real trouble before. she laughed at herself. Was she really going to do this. could she even make herself do this. grr who knows if she could.

"Give me your hand," she said waiting for his hand. She put her hand on the table and waited for his.


(wow i am bored enough to write this long. My god.)

Cody's heart leapt up into his throat, and he gasped for a second. It was so sudden- what was he supposed to do?

Obvious enough.

He took hold of Brook's hand and looked her right in the eyes.

She smiled after seeing the look on his face. She know what that look was he was scared. She laughed making shore he didn't see she do you. A big smile went on his face. " School starts in like a half-an-hour. What have to do something fun but i am hunger too. So what can we do that is fun but fulls the needs of us hunger people." She lead forward as she said this. She smiled and laughed knowing that was not what he thought she was going to do. I have to say she problay looked pretty funny. But with her smile she pulled of funny looking pretty good. Her hair fell from behind her shoulders and she flicked it back with her free hand, her other hand was grasping Cody's hand. She held his soft hand loose so he could pull away at any time. She lead back to were she was siting before but she still held his hand. She then waited for a answer.


(You know you should really try to be on once a day i am on like every 10 minutes sometimes. I switch on and off between an other post. that and i am lazy and dont do my homework)

Cody's heart was thumping hard. What the hell was going on here? He was confussed and wasn't sure if that was how Brook wanted him to be- and that only made him more confused. "Well . . .I dunno." He was still holding onto Brook, but it felt as is he was slightly alone. "What are you hungry for?"

(I know sorry i am just so busy right now and i work really hard on homework and i have so much of it right now sorry i'll try my best though.)

"What ever your hungry for. I am good with anything. But it has to be low fat i am watching my weight. And it has to be FUN. " She smiled knowing that she wasn't going to be the one that was going to choise were. She looked up at him and smile raising her eye brows as she did so. He looked so nervious like he was about to sweat and turn red and all that stuff. She could nearly hear his heart from here. *bump.... bump..... bump* and it would go faster, *bump.. bump. bump. bump .bump*. was he scared of her. No, who could be scared of poor little Brook. He was scared of what she could do. She could get a little mean and nice and well who knows what else. She changed alot. She tryed to stop smiling and be serious. "Cody.... i am not that scarey am i? i can hear your heart from over here. Is it me holding your hands..... because i wont if you want. Sorry if i scare you. " She tryed soooo hard no to smile. She finelly stopped smiling then stared waiting for a answer.

"No, it's just I'm kinda confused right now. I'm not really sure what you mean by 'hungry,' which is pathetic I know. I'm jsut not great with girls.... Are you wanting to go get something to eat, or...?"

[Brook West]

"I really am hungry." Are you????" She smiled happy he wasn't scared of her. Or completly scared of her at least.
