Brook looked up just it time to see a boy waving at her. She waved back but was confident he didn't see her. She continued playing but she kept watching them in the corner of her eye. She watched the girl watch her. Brook thought about going to talk to them her self but.. well she would never do that. Making friends was just not something she was good at. Brook continued to kick the ball around.

"Have you ever been to one of our games? I mean an actual game. And I don't mean witnessing one of coach's tantrums or getting knocked in the head with a ball.. I mean a real game." Brady asked, smiling as his made his other comments as he predicted Wendy had most likely been to one of the baseball game's before since it seemed she had observed the team a bit.
He knew he would be pleased if this was true, as baseball was a major part of Brady's life and it was always excellent to him when he found someone he could actually speak to about it without fearing that they'll roll their eyes at his enthusiasm. {sorry if this is so late. I suck.} |

"I've been to a few... Though I wasn't really in the stands cheering... I'm not really a loud person if you haven't caught that already," she said with a slight smile at herself. She moved all of her books around so she got an extra hand to brush her dark brown hair out of her eyes. Once that was over she continued on with the conversation, starting to talk without first completely thinking out what she was going to say. "I just love the whole ambience... With all the people cheering, and the sounds of the bats cracking, and how you can just feel how everyone has their complete attention on a fly ball, willing it to go all the way out of the park..." she said, then sort of trailed off as she realized what she was saying, and thought it would sound quite funny. But Wendy had a poet's point of view and she just thought that way, taking in the little details and capturing them perfectly with her sense. "Sorry if that sounds a bit silly," she added with a sort of guilty grin.

Skye was walking in the park in deep thoughts. She looked around. So this will be my new hometown, she thought. Her family had moved to Laguna from NYC.
Skye was wearing her turquoise penquin t-shirt (www.thinkgeek.com), a short denim skirt (www.images.amazon.com) and turquoise ballerinas. Her brown, long hair was curled into soft waves. Skye noticed a boy and a girl, talking. I guess they are at Laguna High, she thought. Finally, she shrugged her shoulders and walked to the boy and the girl. "Hello, my name is Skye. I'm new at here." |
